I had spent 23 hours training with compressing my Ki while keeping the clothes weighted to about 100× gravity. That's how long it took Nail to return with the dragon balls.
"Nail has returned with the dragon balls, take this one and go out to make your wishes." Guru said as he handed me the Dragon Ball that he was protecting.
"Thank you. Oh, I meant to ask, Earth's dragon balls need a year to recover to make another wish after one is made, how long does it take for the Namekian Dragon Balls?" I asked.
"It takes 6 Earth months," Guru explained.
"Okay, thank you." I said as I walked outside.
I saw Nail standing with six dragon balls around him and I walked out carrying the seventh.
Nail looked at me and remembered the power I had shown.
"To think that your power has grown to such a level, even without that hidden power. The future must be a terrible place if even your power is not enough." Nail commented.
"It can be, but I hope to change that." I replied.
"To make a wish upon the Namekian Dragon Balls, the wish must be said in the Namekian language. I will translate your wishes for you." Nail explained.
I looked at Goku.
"You don't mind if I use the dragon balls for me do you?" I asked.
"I can't think of any reason why you can't, we don't need it for anything because you made sure no one died to the Saiyans, the way I see it, we owe you this chance. Just create a clone for me to train with." Goku replied.
I nodded and created a clone for Goku who flew off with it to train.
I looked at Nail and said I was ready. Nail apoke the chant to summon Porunga and I finally saw the dragon for myself.
"I am the Eternal dragon, who has summoned me?" Porunga asked.
Goku stopped training for a moment to stare in awe at the dragon that was a lot larger than Shenron but then went back to training.
"It was I who summoned you eternal dragon." I said with Nail translating.
"I see, you may speak I shall grant three wishes within my power. Speak your first wish." Porunga replied.
"Yes, so for my first wish, I'd like the ability to hold my breath for as long as I want." I said causing a strange look to pass over Nail's face, he was curious as to my reasoning for such a wish but he relayed it to Porunga nonetheless.
"That is within my power to grant...Speak your second wish." Porunga replied and I knew he had granted my wish as his eyes glowed a deep Crimson.
"For my second wish, I want to receive the time freeze power of Guldo from the Ginyu Force but I don't want to have to shout the name of the ability." I said.
"I see, that is within my power to grant. Speak your third and final wish." Porunga replied.
I didn't think I'd actually get Guldo's ability, I really lucked out this time.
"For my last wish, I want the best regeneration that you can grant with the caveat that it won't affect my race's inborn Zenkai ability and that it includes my tail being regenerated." I said.
His eyes shone, but I didn't feel any different. I had expected to feel something.
"Did it work?" I asked.
Porunga did something which I felt might've been rolling his eyes and then replied.
"Yes. You can heal from any and every Injury as long as there is at least a part of you left over and it will not affect your inborn ability as you have requested." Porunga explained.
"That's awesome, thank you so much Porunga." I said excitedly.
"Your wishes have been granted, I will return to my slumber. Fare the well." Porunga said before the dragon balls shone and then shot off in different directions.
"Well that was great, I wasn't sure about some of my wishes, but I can test one of them now." I said then simply thought 'Time Freeze' and held my breath.
I then saw the whole area seemed to become discolored and I walked around and saw that everything and everyone was frozen in time.
I could feel a drain in my energy, but at my current level of power, it was almost negligible.
I did notice that the time freeze seemed to be localized as I could still feel Goku's energy rising and falling as he was fighting my clone which was also moving.
But at least in the immediate area, time was frozen. Guldo truly didn't know how powerful he could have been.
The best part is this is considered a psychic ability and technically not time manipulation and it has a lot of limitations, it requires holding breath, drains energy immensely, and requires concentration.
It's because of these limitations that I believe Porunga was able to grant the wish.
How could he have known I'd wish to hold my breath indefinitely which makes this ability a lot more powerful. Of course, it's useless against true time manipulators like the angels.
I believe it may even have an effect on Hit, the assassin from Universe Six at least until he enhances his Time Skip. But I didn't plan to make it a trump card for Hit, merely a little help.
I went back inside and saw the now Elder Moori in the place where Guru was and he looked like he wanted to ask me something and after a few moments, he did.
"I know you explained a little to Elder Guru earlier, but why exactly did you want to get more powerful? What kind of enemies are you facing that you need such power?" Moori asked as it was just him and me inside.
"Before I answer, what happened to Elder Guru?" I asked feigning ignorance.
"He was already weak before you arrived and held on just long enough for your wishes to be granted." Moori explained.
"I see. I am sorry for your loss, but I will keep the promise I made to him and as for your question, well, you may not understand all of this, but there is a super-powerful being that can erase entire universes with but a thought, and from what I know, he would erase universes with a low mortal level like our universe." I said as i explained what a mortal level was.
"Our universe? You speak as if there is more than one." Moori questioned.
"Twelve to be exact, we are universe 7 and what I am doing is not only for my survival, but to help raise the mortal level of our universe and I'm going to drag it kicking and screaming into a new age." I said passionately.
"I see you feel quite strongly about this. But I must ask, how is it you know all this?" Moori asked.
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you, but I will say that I know part of it due to meeting one of the powerful people I brought up earlier." I replied.
I was actually talking about something from my memories of my Saiyan life. It was when I met Beerus. I was younger, probably around 10 I'd say and I was already doing missions, but wasn't a leader of a squad yet.
Saiyans aren't a warrior race for nothing as long as your power is high enough you're expected to contribute to the war effort as we were practically always at war with other races due to our conqueror mentality.
I had come to report to King Vegeta and I saw him, Beerus. Even though I couldn't sense his Ki, I could feel power radiating off him in waves.
When I saw him he was talking with King Vegeta and Vegeta his son was also there. Up until that point I had never seen King Vegeta be deferential towards anyone but Frieza, but now, having hindsight that I didn't have at that time, I knew why. He was a freaking God of Destruction.
As Beerus was getting ready to leave, he turned and he saw me. He looked at me knowingly with a look that could be seen as pity. I believe he already had plans to have the Saiyans destroyed as some fans believed he had ordered Frieza to destroy Planet Vegeta.
I don't remember if it was ever confirmed, but if not that, he at least knew that Frieza was already planning to destroy Planet Vegeta.
Either way, I remember that moment clearly, and I knew how outclassed I was.
I have been trying to focus entirely on increasing my Base strength all for the hope that I can be strong enough to convince Beerus to let me make the wish on the Super Dragon Balls as I have the perfect wish in mind that only Super Shenron can grant.
Based on what I know of Beerus' personality, if I agree to fight in the battle between the universes, promise to guarantee that Champa loses, and promise him some earth cuisine that I'm pretty sure would be unique for him.
The food he'd been gushing over in DBS was for the most part Asian cuisine. Not that there's anything wrong with Asian cuisine it's some of the best food to exist, but I am an American at heart and there isn't technically anything that resembles a North American or South American region in the dbz universe.
I will introduce all that Americans have to offer, we are a melting pot of cultures so there is a lot for him to try and I'm going to share with him and Whis one of my favorite American foods which I think is quintessentially American, and that's BBQ.
I don't mean like a classic BBQ that has hot dogs and cheeseburgers, although I will also share that with him, I mean Briskets, pulled pork sandwiches, cornbread, collard greens, ribs, and Mac n cheese.
I believe it should be enough that he'd agree and I will even be using pizza as a bargaining chip to get Whis to train me so the odds are in my favor.
I will have to cook all these dishes by hand with replacement ingredients that I can find in the DBZ world but from what I can tell, they have all the basic food groups so it's shouldn't be hard to make the food.
Thankfully I was a great cook in my last life. I had taken 6 complete cooking courses, one of which had me working in an industrial kitchen that you'd find in a fancy restaurant. While I had originally taken these classes to help me meet girls, I found I enjoyed cooking and I was good at it.
I believe that Beerus is the kind of person who would 100% know what they have and haven't had when it comes to food but all this stuff is far in the future so I'll deal with it then.

Guru had decided to leave things the way they were, the Saiyan had already promised to protect the Namekians which he sees as essentially his children. He could pass on with that assurance as he had held on through the third wish of the Saiyan even though he was weak.
He had also already chosen Moori as his successor and transferred ownership of the dragon balls to him as the third wish had finished being granted.

I had decided to simply train until Frieza gets here and then I'd take care of him and leave the Ginyu Force to Goku and as long as he doesn't lose to Ginyu then any other people here would be easy pickings.
Would Zenaku stop growing stronger simply because he could beat Frieza easily, fuck no!
