Spiderman swung in a hurry. The Spider sense hadn't deactivated yet, just to tell him how horrifying the situation was.
The spider sense led him to the hospital, which made him even more worried. He swung in, breaking the window in the process. He ran towards the ward he was getting the bad vibes from. If was Jonah's room! He burst in, just to see the Green Goblin jumping out of window.
"What have you done!" He screamed, running towards Jonah. He froze at the horrible sight. His uncle had been stabbed multiple times, and his internal organs were no longer internal.
Spiderman fell to his knees, bursting into tears. But the crying ended quickly, as his eyes shot outside, staring at the direction the Goblin went. He swung, bursting the wall. He swung like a monster, not caring what was in his front. He soon caught up to the Goblin. The Green Goblin turned back, extremely surprised. He thought he had escaped. Suddenly, Spiderman webbed his glider and pulled him down, smashing him on the floor. The Goblin stood up, dust obstructing his vision. He saw the blurry figure of Spiderman.
"You can't hide little spider!" He tried to taunt, but a heavy punch blasted him away.
"Who said I was hiding?"
"All my life I held back my punches. But just this once, I'll show you the true power of Spiderman."
"You can't do nothing! You're weak!" The Goblin screamed, struggling to stand. Suddenly, Spiderman appeared in front of him, grabbing his collar. He repeatedly punched the Goblin, not stopping even for a second. Soon, the villian's mask had cracked, but Spiderman didn't stop, no pause.

Spiderman threw a backflip, kicking the Goblin in the process, while dodging the glider that was rapidly approaching. Green Goblin stumbled towards the glider, trying to escape. But to his utmost dismay, Spiderman webbed his glider and pulled it to himself.
He walked slowly towards the Goblin, and raised the glider.
"Tell me how you feel-" he said, smashing the glider on the Goblin's stomach.
"Aahh!!"
"Tell me! How does it feel!"
Bang!
"Argh! Please -"
"How does it feel you bastard!"
Bang!!!
"Can't you speak !"
Bang!
Bang!
Bang!
Blood flowed like a river from the Goblin, as he lay there, barely hanging on to life.
"I won't even take off your mask,your life ends here." Spiderman said, eerily calmly, raising the glider to deal the final blow.
Suddenly, a large explosion occurred, and the people ran out screaming.
Spiderman turned to go and rescue them when a new glider hit him, pushing him away.
The glider released some claws that grabbed the Goblin, and with that the Goblin was gone.
"Get back here Goblin!!!!!!!! Goblin!!!!!!! You can't escape me!!!!!!!!! I'll chase you to the ends of the earth!!!!!!!!" Spiderman screamed, his voice spewing pure hatred.
Even the Goblin who was almost dead, felt a chill in his spine.

DAYS LATER
It was time to bury Jonah.
Caldeus stood there, dejected. He blamed himself for his uncle's death. He hadn't stopped crying since the day he died. Aunty Mary stood near him, patting his shoulder.
"I couldn't protect him aunt Mary." He said, sobbing heavily.
Mrs Mary shook her head sadly.
"You don't have to blame yourself. There's nothing you would've done." But Caldeus wasn't listening.
Gwen walked up to him when he was alone, she grabbed his hand but he pulled it away. She looked at him, surprised.
"Caldeus, you're hurting yourself! Stop, it was an inevitable situation! You can't save everyone!" She said, her voice shaking.
"As long as I am breathing, I would find the Goblin. And I'll kill him."
"You've started this nonsense again! Spiderman doesn't kill!"
*Don't get me wrong, I won't kill any villian I see. But you see, that Goblin, I would be the one that takes his life. And if someone else does it before me, I'll kill that person too."
"Caldeus, stop-"
"It's useless talking to him when he's like this Gwen." A voice said from behind.
"Who are you?" She asked, taking some steps back .
"My name is Clyde."
"You are Clyde?" She asked, turning to face Caldeus.
"Long time no see Clyde." Caldeus said, shaking and embracing him.
"How've you been Caldeus?" Clyde asked with a smile.
"I've been well. What about you?"
"I'm good. Well my wedding is on Saturday, and I'm inviting you. I've mailed you the card."
Caldeus nodded with a smile, and he walked away.
Gwen looked at him (Caldeus) confused.
"Whenever he's like this, I don't bother trying to convince him. So who are you? His girlfriend?"
"What me? No! I'm not his girlfriend!"
"Relax, why are you overreacting."
She laughed awkwardly, and slowly walked away.
She walked towards a young man, whispering to him. Together, both of them walked to Caldeus.
"Hey Caldeus, this is Otto Octavius, my fiance." She introduced.
"Ahem, it's Dr Otto Octavius." He added with a bright smile, stretching his hand forward for a handshake. Caldeus shook his hand with a smile.
"Nice to meet you Dr Octavius."
"Same here. Gwen's told me a lot about you. You are a wonderful man Caldeus."
"Well I must say I'm quite flattered." Caldeus replied, trying his best to hide his growing anger.
One by one, everyone left, and Caldeus was left alone.
He stared at his palms sadly, as tears fell from his eyes.

Sometime passed, and Clyde's wedding had arrived. Caldeus put on his tuxedo, and checked himself out in his mirror. He was Clyde's best man, so he had to look good.
His search for the Green Goblin always seemed to fail, but he didn't give up.
He walked into a room in Clyde's house where he saw Clyde chatting with some of his friends. They exchanged pleasantries, and soon the wedding kicked off.
Everything was going well.
Yes, everything WAS going well.
Until someone decided to crash the wedding.
And that someone was Clyde's brother in law.
Clyde was dancing with his wife, and Caldeus sat in a corner staring at Gwen and Otto chat.

"Oh my God what again!" Caldeus screamed in frustration.
Boom!!! A small explosion occurred, and soon everyone was running, screaming their lungs out.
Caldeus ran to a corner and activated his suit.
He saw two shady looking men running to a truck, and he followed them. They brought out a small weird looking gun, and one was about to shoot the other.
"Last time I checked you need a licence to own a gun!" Spiderman said, webbing the gun out of their hold.
"Stay out of this web head!"
"Oh wow, you crashed a party and now you're chasing me from yours?"
"Give us the gun! You don't know what you're doing!"
Spiderman squinted as he looked at the last speaker.
"Why do you look like -"
"Spiderman! What's going on?" Clyde asked, interrupting him. "What the hell! Riley what are you doing here?" He asked.
"You know this party pooper?"
"Yes! He's my brother in law, Riley."
Suddenly, Riley and his cohort brought out some fierce looking guns and shot them at Spiderman and Clyde, which both parties dodged with difficulty.
Riley aimed at Clyde and shot, but Spiderman swung to save him, in the process loosing the weird gun. Riley's accomplice picked it and was about to shoot Riley when Clyde jumped between them, trying to grab the gun.
"Clyde no!" Spiderman yelled, but it was too late. Clyde was shot.
He fell, unconscious.
Riley was about to run when his sister, Clyde's wife, ran to the scene. She screamed in horror and ran towards Clyde. In that moment of panic, Riley shot her dead.
Spiderman froze, and this gave Riley and his cohort the chance to escape.
Spiderman ran to Clyde and his wife, trying to help them.
"Somebody!! Hell me!!!"

Clyde sat in his hospital room, tears streaming down his face.
Caldeus sat near him, looking lost.
"They escaped right?" Clyde finally spoke.
Caldeus nodded silently. He raised his head, and Clyde had disappeared. Caldeus stood up, alarmed.
"Clyde!! What the hell bro!! Where are you!!"

Riley paced around in an abandoned warehouse. He walked from one end of the wall to another. As he turned to face rhe door, he suddenly saw Clyde.
"Woah!! Clyde!! It worked, the gun gave you powers -"
"Why did you kill her?" He interrupted.
"Clyde you have to listen -"
"Why did you kill Amanda!!" He screamed, punching Riley. The power behind his punch was so strong it made Riley burst out of the building.
The latter coughed as he struggled to stand.
"P-please! Listen to me-"
"The only thing I want to hear are your screams."
Clyde raised his hand, and Riley slowly floated. His right hand twisted to a weird angle. A loud cracking sound was heard, followed by Riley's screams.
"You are really pitiful." Clyde spat, as more of Riley's limbs twisted.
"You sick monster!!" Riley screamed.
"Monster? Oh you think you've seen a monster?"
Riley gulped.
"Clyde, stop!" Spiderman yelled, swinging into the scene.
"Get out of here Spiderman, this doesn't involve you!" Clyde yelled, smashing Riley on the ground. He repeated the process of lifting him and smashing him down.
Spiderman ran towards Clyde but suddenly a portal appeared and next thing he knew he was in the sky.
"What the flying -" Spiderman screamed, but he couldn't complete his statement because another portal appeared and took him out the scene.
Clyde turned to face the half dead Riley.
"This abilities I possess, I'll have to thank you for giving them to me. But you see the sad thing is you'll die here."
Spiderman swung back to the scene and tried to push Clyde, but he couldn't even move him.
Clyde turned to face him in anger and grabbed him by the throat, lifting him up.
"Spare me the crap Spiderman! Just some days ago you were spitting about revenge, and now you're trying to stop me from getting mine!"
Spiderman froze, he who was trying to stop Clyde, also wanted revenge.
Suddenly, a strong force pushed him away, and he crashed into a wall, falling unconscious.
Clyde walked towards Riley, who was muttering his last prayers.
"This is the end."

Spiderman woke up, he was still at the abandoned warehouse. But everywhere was dark.
"How long have I been unconscious?"
He looked round and noticed everywhere was empty, void of human beings.
He grabbed his head, as Clyde came to his mind.
"I couldn't stop him."

Otto and Gwen walked into a restaurant for an evening date. She was dressed in a beautiful red dress which made her white hair stand out. Otta wore a simple white shirt and black trousers.
They got to their table, and soon placed others.
Caldeus walked into the same restaurant, not knowing they were there. He saw them, and a burning sensation hit his chest.
'Otto Octavius.' he muttered under his breath.
