Nathaniel stared at Kael who was brandishing his axe, there was nothing he could do but pathetically watch
The adventurers were either in combat or to scares to intervene.. It was hopeless
He tried to move, to rise back up and fight yet his body denied his every plea, his muscles ached as he coughed up blood, exhaustion catching up to him..
Yet he defiantly stared at Kael, that dammed gaze that burnt, almost as if it would pierce his world, a gaze that burnt for an eternity stating
"I wont end here."
Yet even then.. Nathaniel couldn't move, so what of he was still defiant? It would all be for nought as he was soon to die anyways..
Kael, seeing the weakened Sol couldn't help but laugh as he raises his axe with his one usable hand
' ' I told you you's die tonight. ' '
He said as he swung his axe down yet Nathaniel stared him down undeterred by fear
Swoosh~
Fast as the wind.. A cloaked figure would save Nathaniel from Kael's wrath, strands of theie blonde hair being seen through their hood with their azure blue eyes piercing Nathaniel's very soul
A kind, gentle soul had saved him
'Eulysess.. Isn't he one of the B-ranks at the vanguard..?'
' ' Rest well, Sol. You've sone enough. ' '
His soft almost feminine voice soothed Nathaniel's pain as he gently sat him down behind the other warriors, with a huff he stood up drawing his blade
Kael scoffed, seeing Eulysess approach him
' ' That's enough, Barbarian. You're tyranny ends today. ' '
Eulysess spoke, not as a threat but as a statement, a promise to be upheld as he pointed his rapier at Kael
' ' Come. ' '
Kael responded as the two lunged at each other,
Barbaric monstrous strenth clashing with lightning like speed as Eulysess pestered Kael with his rapier, hundreds of thrusts though not deep still served to weaken Kael tiring him out
Meanwhile, each swing Kael swung at his opponent would be dodged witbout much effort seeving to enrage Kael even more
With a roar, the enraged Kael would smash the earth, shattering the ground making Eulysess off balanced..
Or that was his plan, bouncing from each shattered piece of earth he launched on swift strike with his rapier, coating his body with mana
In response, Kael did the same yet.. As he tried to block with his Axe the Rapier simply pierced it like paper..
Drip.. Drip.. Drip..
Blood spilled from Kael's shoulder which was had just been pierced..
Kneeling on the ground Kael couldn't help but scoff, it was the end, he had failed.. Now it was time to pay the price.
With a swift movement, the rapier had pierced Kael's skull, killing him in an instant
Taking a piece of cloth from his pocket Eulysess would elagantly clean the blade of his weapon as he sheathed it once again picking Nathaniel up
'I'm far too weak.. So this is what someone from the B-rank can do.. Being able to manifest aura so effortlesly..'
Nathaniel scoffed as he drifted to unconsciousness...

Arf! Arf! Arf!
Nathaniel would be woken up by the loud barking of the Fenris
Gasp!
He sat up.. Still tired from his previous fight he couldn't help but groan yet his worries were soon forgotten seeing Fenris by his side yet..
'My mask-!'
Nathaniel quickly panicked as he touched his face until..
' ' Please, Sol do not worry. ' '
A soft female voice interrupted him, it was Elanor sitting right infront of him.. He was in her carriage
' ' I made sure your face wasn't leaked so please do not worry.. Howevee it is a surprise to see you look abour my age ' '
Elanor stated, looking at Nathaniel's face with a gaze so intense he felt his face was burning from her gaze alone
With a sigh, Nathaniel managed to use the mana he had recovered from his rest to summon his mask once again, the flames burning with much less intensity than before
' ' How long has it been? ' '
' ' A day, but please do not worry, tommorow we will arrive at Westventer. ' '
Elanor said to reassure Nathaniel
With a nod Nathaniel hopped off the carriage
' ' Thank you. ' '
He said as he waved Elanor off before walking someplace else..
' ' Mister Eulysess. ' '
Nathaniel called out to the cloaked figure that helped him yesterday
' ' Oh-! You're Sol right? What do you need? '
Eulysess asked with almost an excited tone, it was a tone not many in their profession could have unless they were yet to experience hard ship
' ' I'd like to thank you, for yesterday. And.. Please may I ask you a favor? ' '
Nathaniel asked, but before Eulysess would answer he'd take his cloak off revealing long.. Pointed ear.. Her bright azure eyes staring at Nathaniel making surprising him
'An Elf..? To think I'd run into one.. And she's definetly not an average elf, I need her to teach me.'
Nathaniel thought to himself before his thoughts were interrupted by Eulysess
' ' Anything, unless it is to extreme ' '
She replied
' ' Please, teach me Aura. ' '
Nathaniel said making Eulysess dumbfounded
