Noah nodded his head in agreement as he looked out the window.
"I know exactly what you mean," he replied to Naya.
"I was completely speechless when I saw it sitting there in the driveway. I really don't think I will ever truly understand the life of the wealthy. Who just gives out such an expensive car like it is nothing?"
"But Naya, you have to believe me, Adam really didn't do anything to me. If he is feeling guilty about anything at all, it is probably just because he forced me into this marriage that I never wanted."
"Still, I don't even think that is the reason he bought the car. Apparently, he had the vehicle prepared and the chauffeur hired three days ago, right on the very day we signed the papers and got into this mess."
Naya gripped the steering wheel, her expression one of genuine bafflement. "That man is certainly weird," she muttered.
