I stood there, staring at Lothair across the desk, trying to piece together what this was about.
"What kind of services are we talking about here? Is this some new business idea?"
Lothair's smile never wavered. That eternal sly curve remained fixed on her lips as she leaned back in her chair, fingers still steepled.
"Before we discuss the details," she said, "I need to ask you something personal. Have you performed sexual intercourse with anyone other than myself?"
I blinked.
And when my eyelid shut my vision, I stayed like that for a moment to cleanse my perplexity.
The question came out so casually that it took me a whooping five seconds to process
"No," I answered, matching her casual tone. "I haven't."
"That won't do," Lothair's hand moved, and a small portal materialized beside her—barely larger than her palm. She reached through and pulled out a single sheet of paper, then slid it across the desk toward me. "This new business venture is designed to fix that."
