The fox demon's voice cut through the dungeon's cold air like a serrated blade.

I stared at her for a moment, taking in her snarling expression, the way her black fox ears flattened against her skull, her tail lashing behind her despite the chains holding her limbs spread against the stone wall.
Her beastly plated hands flexed uselessly, claws scraping against nothing.
Then, without a word, I turned and walked out of the cell.
