Since the visit took more time than expected, Lothair needed to continue her work or whatever her shady plan was in the grand scheme of things, and left me with some trinkets.
She gave me a nice-looking pouch and two scrolls of teleportation.
One was set to bring me straight back to the front gate of Ravena Mansion whenever I needed it. The other would drop me right here at Tiny Stump, in case I wanted to deal with anything involving the Skittish Janitors.
Unlike normal teleportation scrolls, however, both could be used repeataedly—meaning they would not vanish after a single use.
"I will call you through Surreal tomorrow or the day after," Lothair added, her voice light but with that underlying playfulness I had come to familiarize. "There is something I wish to discuss."
"I'll report the condensation of the Ego too after I get back to Ravena Mansion. Do you want me to deliver it to Surreal or have me tell you everything in our next meeting?"
"Both works."
