Tights stuck out her tongue awkwardly. She had indeed been asking a little too much of her sister.
Vegeta was somewhat disappointed as well, but he knew that Bulma genuinely didn't understand these things. Otherwise, how could her battle power have remained at only 10,000 all this time?
The estate fell quiet once again.
The two sisters returned to drinking afternoon tea beneath the patio umbrella.
Vegeta remained standing where he was.
He had abandoned the idea of continuing to train in the Gravity Room. Instead, he was thinking about what kind of teacher he should find.
"Could it be that I have to follow in Kakarot's footsteps? Whatever teachers he found, I have to find those same teachers too?"
Vegeta shook his head slightly.
Kakarot had been born with a battle power of only 2. The teachers he encountered as a child were far too weak.
With Vegeta's current strength, seeking out those ordinary martial artists would be completely pointless.
"What should I do?!"
Vegeta clenched his fists tightly.
He glanced at Bulma in the distance and suddenly remembered that she was very familiar with Beerus and the other gods.
"Right! Why not ask Whis?"
Vegeta shook his head again.
No.
He had clashed with Gran in the past. Although Gran no longer bothered with him, considering Gran's relationship with Beerus and the others, there was no way they would agree to teach him.
But aside from those gods, there probably wasn't anyone else capable of becoming his teacher!
"Bulma…"
Vegeta was extremely frustrated.
Still, he decided to try asking someone as powerful as Whis.
Maybe a miracle would happen!
"What is it this time?"
Bulma looked over, her face filled with impatience.
Her so-called brother-in-law was really troublesome!
"It's like this. Could you perhaps…"
Before Vegeta could finish...
A brilliant rainbow-colored light suddenly appeared overhead.
It descended into the estate at an astonishing speed.
"Huh?"
Bulma froze.
It seemed like only Whis could make such an entrance.
And if Whis had come, then Lord Gran would probably be coming too.
Therefore...
"Gran!!"
Bulma excitedly bounced toward the incoming figures.
However...
"Hey! Take a good look. Do I look like Gran to you?"
The speaker was none other than Champa, who had just arrived from the Supreme Kai's Realm.
Standing beside Champa were Fuwa and Vados.
"Huh?"
Bulma abruptly stopped halfway there.
She stared intensely at the newcomers.
Of the three new arrivals in the estate, the tall, mature-looking woman and the fat purple pig looked vaguely familiar.
"Let me think!"
Bulma placed a finger beneath her chin, her brows tightly furrowed.
A moment later.
Her pupils suddenly contracted.
She stammered, "Y-You… You're Lord Champa?"
In fact, Champa had accompanied Beerus to Earth several times in the past. And every time he came to Earth, Bulma had been the one to receive him.
"Hmph. Has it really only been a little over ten years since we last met? You forgot me this quickly? Bulma, you're really something!"
Champa glared at the girl.
He still remembered the first time he had come to Earth with Gran.
Back then, he and Gran had been squatting beside a park road, and this very girl had actually mistaken them for beggars!
"Greetings, Lord Champa. Greetings, Miss Vados…"
Bulma quickly bowed.
Then she noticed the green, chubby man standing beside Champa.
She cautiously asked, "And this is…?"
"He's Fuwa, the Supreme Kai of the Sixth Universe."
"Greetings, Lord Fuwa!"
Bulma quickly bowed again.
"Bulma, hurry up and take us somewhere we can get some good food."
Champa knew that this girl had an extraordinary relationship with Gran and Beerus.
She was also the daughter of Earth's richest man.
If he wanted to find all kinds of delicious food on Earth, he would have to rely on her.
That was why Champa's tone toward her wasn't nearly as cold as it would have been toward an ordinary mortal.
"Of course, of course!"
Bulma didn't dare say anything else.
She immediately led the three of them toward the dining room inside the estate.
Soon, only Vegeta and Tights remained outside.
"Tights… Who… who are they?"
Vegeta stared at Champa and the others, swallowing nervously.
"I've never seen them before. I don't know either!"
Tights was trembling slightly.
"But judging from their conversation and their appearance, they seem to be gods too."
"Right! I also heard them mention the Sixth Universe just now. That obviously means they're gods from a universe other than ours!"
Vegeta's eyes widened again.
What the hell?!
What kind of background did Bulma have?
How did she even know gods from other universes?!
"Tights, why does your sister know so many gods?"
"How should I know? Who knows what she's been doing all these years?!"
"…"
Vegeta rubbed his head repeatedly.
Finding a powerful teacher was already difficult enough.
Yet Bulma, an ordinary Earth woman, somehow knew so many gods!
"Wait!"
A flash of insight suddenly appeared in Vegeta's mind.
Judging from those three people's appearances, they were very likely a God of Destruction and an Angel from another universe.
Since he wanted to find a teacher, why couldn't he ask them?
"Vegeta!!!"
Tights' eyes suddenly lit up.
She had thought of it too.
"I know."
Vegeta nodded firmly at Tights.
"Don't come. I'll go by myself."
The two spoke in vague whispers. Anyone else listening wouldn't have had the slightest idea what they were talking about.
But Tights naturally understood exactly what her man was thinking.
She watched as Vegeta stealthily made his way toward the dining room.
Vegeta crept outside the dining room.
Through the window, he carefully watched Champa and the others.
The three of them were sitting around the dining table, continuously stuffing themselves with delicious food.
"Strange. Why does this God of Destruction look so much like Lord Beerus?"
At this point, Vegeta still had no idea that Champa was actually Beerus's twin younger brother.
Meanwhile, inside the dining room.
Champa stuffed a huge chunk of meat into his mouth and glanced toward the window.
"Bulma, what is that guy doing?"
Bulma, who was serving Champa nearby, froze.
She quickly looked toward the window.
Her so-called brother-in-law had actually sneaked over here!
"Lord Champa, he seems to be a Saiyan too. But his strength looks pretty average."
Vados continued eating.
Unlike Champa, who was practically devouring his food, her movements remained elegant and refined.
It had been many years since she'd eaten Earth's cuisine.
It really was delicious.
"A Saiyan?"
Champa looked at Vegeta and curled his lips.
"His strength really is weak. Even his martial arts foundation looks extremely unstable. Compared with that Saiyan named Son Goku, he's leagues behind."
Champa was familiar with Son Goku as well.
After all, he had encountered Goku himself when he came to Earth back then.
The people inside the dining room weren't hiding their conversation at all.
They spoke openly and casually.
Their voices carried outside.
Vegeta clenched his fists tightly.
Even the God of Destruction from another universe knew about the gap between him and Son Goku!
"Damn it!!"
Vegeta took a deep breath.
He had to endure it.
If he could find a good teacher, he would definitely surpass that damn Kakarot.
As for Gran…
Forget that monster.
There was probably no way he could catch up to him even if he lived ten lifetimes.
