He had no patience for elegance.
No patience for delay.
He hovered over her, as he positioned himself between her thighs.
Her hair was wild against the sheets. Her nightdress hung open, breasts perfectly rounded and full. Her lips were parted, swollen from his kisses, her eyes glazed but aware.
And when he entered her, her response a long, breathless sigh as her head tipped back, her eyes rolling upward.
She welcomed him.
The heat of her wrapped around him, tight and desperate and perfectly matched to his hunger. The sensation almost drove him feral, but he held himself in check just enough to stay grounded.
He braced his weight on one elbow.
He watched her face as he moved, watched the way her expression shifted from lingering aftershock to fresh waves of sensation. Her fingers found his shoulders again.
"You feel that?" he murmured low against her ear. "That's me. Ravok."
And the way her body answered him left no room for doubt.
