To reassemble scattered light particles and restore them completely required an overwhelming power of light.
Darkness alone could never accomplish this.
Dark power would only collide head-on with light, causing destruction.
Even Orb's fusion of Belial's card and Zoffy's card had once triggered violent light–dark rejection during its first synchronization—an event that was anything but safe.
Camearra, already dispersed into light particles, would never survive such a collision.
"Tiga," Yuzare said softly as she stepped into the main hall, "transform into light."
"Yuzare—why are you still here?!"
Camearra's expression darkened the moment she saw her, particularly at what she had just said.
Transform into light?
They were Dark Giants.
How could she suggest such a thing?!
"Camearra," Yu Zhou spoke at that moment, "come with me. Leave the Dark Temple together."
"If we convert the darkness within us into light, the seal will no longer bind us."
"Is that… really possible…?"
Before Camearra could finish—
A dark crimson vortex suddenly formed within the hall.
Four streams of condensed energy shot out instantly, striking toward Tiga, Camearra, Hudra, and Darramb.
"Cthulhu!"
Yu Zhou reacted at once, diving straight into the vortex.
Camearra, Hudra, and Darramb were struck head-on, the refined darkness sinking directly into their bodies.
"This is bad…"
Yuzare retreated several steps.
From the three Dark Giants, a far denser and more tangible darkness erupted outward.
"So, Cthulhu intervened after all!"
She understood immediately—this refined darkness was Cthulhu's doing.
If Tiga and the others successfully transformed and escaped the temple, the next to suffer would be Gatanothor.
That was why Cthulhu chose this moment to act.
Inside the vortex, Yu Zhou scanned the vast dimensional space—but Cthulhu was nowhere to be found.
In a realm this large, escape was effortless.
"Camearra!"
Realizing the danger, Yu Zhou burst back out of the vortex and returned to the temple.
The sight that greeted him made his heart sink.
Camearra, Hudra, and Darramb's eyes burned crimson, their consciousness completely overtaken by Cthulhu's corruption.
"So, you've chosen to betray us and side with the light—then die!"
"Traitor!"
"Dog of the light!"
All three unleashed their finishing beams at once.
"They've lost themselves!" Yuzare shouted urgently.
"Cthulhu's darkness has completely overtaken them!"
Yu Zhou already knew.
But knowing did not give him an answer.
Attacking them was impossible.
He raised a barrier, narrowly blocking the three beams, buying himself a moment.
"What do I do now…?"
Thoughts raced through his mind—
Then his resolve hardened.
"Then I'll convert it directly."
"Give me all of your darkness!"
With determination blazing in his eyes, Yu Zhou dismissed the barrier and allowed the three beams to strike his body head-on.
"Tiga!"
Yuzare cried out in alarm.
But when she saw him withstand the attack, she finally exhaled.
"Come—give me all of it!"
Red.
Purple.
Dark gold.
The beams that should have annihilated him instead surged into his silver-black body, as if charging it.
"He's… absorbing them?!"
Yuzare was stunned.
She had never imagined Tiga possessed the ability to absorb others' attacks.
Inside Yu Zhou's body, the light–dark conversion mechanism activated.
Purple.
Red.
Gold.
The energies merged with the original darkness within him—
and particle by particle, darkness transformed into light.
First, purple light surfaced across his body.
Then red followed.
Camearra and the others, fully controlled, noticed nothing—only that even this level of attack failed to kill Tiga, prompting them to increase output.
Under the intensified beams, Yu Zhou's body regained its original coloration.
The silver patterns on his chest gradually turned golden.
"He really… became a Giant of Light."
Yuzare stared in disbelief.
What began as a theory—born from purifying the stains on her own Heart of Light—
had become reality.
"If they can all be converted…"
"Then Earth's guardian gods will return—and darkness will be driven back!"
A sound like silver bells rang through the temple, sharp and pure, like a revelation echoing through time.
Yu Zhou's body stabilized into silver, red, and purple, intertwined.
All power within him became pure light.
"So… this is returning to the light."
He glanced at himself, quietly reflecting.
Camearra, Hudra, and Darramb finally ceased their attacks.
Not only had they failed to destroy Tiga—they felt most of their energy drained away.
"Traitor!"
Even so, their eyes remained crimson.
Cthulhu's influence had not yet been erased.
"Tiga… what do we do now?" Yuzare asked.
Yu Zhou did not answer.
With a wave of his hand, a miniature Plasma Spark appeared at the centre of the temple, flooding the hall with brilliance.
In the future, Camearra and the others would travel to the Land of Light and be transformed by the full Plasma Spark.
This was only a miniature version—
But it would have to do.
Leaving behind an afterimage, Yu Zhou appeared before Camearra and seized her hand.
With his other hand, he reached directly into the Plasma Spark.
"What?!"
Yuzare was shocked.
She knew how terrifying the Plasma Spark's energy was.
Yet Tiga inserted his hand into it as if he had done so countless times.
Energy flowed steadily from the Spark, through Yu Zhou's arm, and into Camearra's body.
At that moment—
Hudra and Darramb charged forward.
