Chapter 242 - Cap.227 - 'Kill!'

In the Land of Wind, Sasori and Deidara finally approached the Hidden Sand Village.

-I don't understand why we couldn't just fly. Hn!- Deidara complained.

-That bird of yours is very conspicuous.- Sasori said.

-I could fly high. Hn!- Deidara continued.

-It would still be visible when we went down.- Sasori continued patiently.

-We could go straight down to the village. Hn!- Deidara didn't give up.

-That way I wouldn't have been able to get the information from my spy.- Sasori retorted.

-Why do you need the information? I could just blow up the whole Sand Village, it would be a huge Boom! Hn!- Deidara said excitedly.

Sasori turned Hiruko's eyes toward Deidara, he was growing irritated. The next moment, Hiruko's tail moved, cutting off Deidara where he should have been, but by the time he noticed Sasori's silence, he had already fled.

-Tsk... annoying brat.- Sasori complained, retracting his tail and continuing to walk without haste. He wouldn't say he wanted to know if Chiyo was in the village at that moment, so he needed that information first.

As for why this is important? Who knows.

Soon Deidara returned to Sasori's side, but he remained vigilant, he knew just how petty Sasori-no-danna could be.

The pair soon arrived in front of the village. Sasori had already released the seal on his spy's mind before they arrived, so when he got there, he found the ninjas responsible for guarding the entrance all dead, only one man remained waiting for them.

Yura knelt down as soon as he saw Sasori. Sasori immediately knew the information he wanted, however, Deidara asked to act alone, sensing that Deidara could handle it. Sasori didn't stop him, he felt nothing for Sunagakure. Even if Deidara blew everything up, he would simply observe from the sidelines.

Watching Deidara leave, the sounds of explosions began to ring out, the attack on Sunagakure had begun.

[A/N: I'm not going to detail the event because it will basically follow the original, so I'll just skip that part to avoid wasting time on it.]

On the other side, isolated in the forest in front of the corpse of the dead rogue ninja, Dosu was writing the information on a scroll, he had already discovered the information he wanted from that kunoichi.

There was no way to lie to him, Dosu could hear her heart, so he tortured her until she told the truth.

He thought for a moment before writing a message, then he summoned Yoru, the giant dog appeared, ready for combat, but since there was nothing there, he approached Dosu, wagging his tail, and gave him a lick.

Dosu's lips trembled inside the mask, but he didn't stop Yoru, petting the dog a little before handing over the message and asking him to deliver it to Guren or Jugo.

Yoru barked in response, before disappearing in a cloud of smoke. Summoning animals are really useful for delivering things.

Dosu would summon Yoru again in an hour, in the meantime, the mission would continue.

He returned to the train, looking at his students with the same expression, but his eyes soon focused on Kenta, who scratched his chin, looked up, and let out a few embarrassed laughs.

Nanami glared at Kenta with an exasperated expression, while Ryuta didn't even look at the idiot, feeling like his IQ might decrease just from talking to him.

Dosu looked first at Nanami and Ryuta. -Good work, however, in these cases, it's better to incapacitate the enemy rather than kill them, often the information you get from them is more useful than their lives.

Ryuta thought for a moment before nodding, he understood.

Nanami, on the other hand, felt a little embarrassed. She had focused so much on not failing and having to be rescued that she ended up forgetting something so important.

Dosu's gaze finally turned to Kenta.

Kenta smiled and said. -I didn't kill my opponent, Dosu-sensei!

He seemed to want to hear a compliment, but Dosu let out an exasperated sigh. -You didn't kill your opponent because you didn't want to kill her, not because you wanted to get information from her.

Kenta looked away, feeling a little guilty.

-Besides, you didn't hear what I said and ran off into the forest. I had to spend time just looking for you, you ran nonstop until you fell.- Dosu continued, but it was actually a clone that went after the idiot.

Kenta looked even more embarrassed. -I just thought Nana-cough, my companions were in danger.

Dosu and Ryuta stared blankly at Kenta, causing him to sweat profusely.

Nanami looked at Kenta, somewhere between exasperated and embarrassed. In the end, she said nothing, although she felt happy that Kenta cared about her. The fact was, she was a ninja, and Kenta's concern was both bittersweet. She didn't want to always be a target for protection.

Dosu shook his head, seeing that Kenta understood his mistake, he put it aside, instead approaching his employer. The fat man seemed confused by the situation, but after Dosu explained that they had been targeted by Ninja, he no longer wanted to rest, quickly wanting to leave.

Dosu agreed, and soon the train was moving again.

An hour later, Dosu separated from the group, leaving a shadow clone behind, and summoned Yoru, hidden in the forest, along with a message from Guren.

'Kill!'

That was all that was written.

Dosu destroyed the paper and continued the mission again, but his only visible eye had become noticeably sharper.

Dosu returned to the group, first, he would complete this mission.

It didn't take long, no other group attacked them along the way. Instead, when they arrived at their destination, the employer was very pleased and said he would recommend Otogakure to his friends and partners.

Dosu thanked them normally, knowing that most of these guys would still choose to work with Oto even without that, it was just lip service.

After the group moved away, Dosu led them astray. The group soon realized something was wrong, they weren't heading towards Oto, but instead were venturing further into the territory of the Land of Tea.

They wanted to ask, but Dosu didn't explain anything, he just kept walking away.
