Chapter 241 - Cap.226 - Afro's Fight

Afro's eyes narrowed, he did not answer, instead tightening his grip on his sword.

Jinnosuke pursed his lips, doing the same with his own sword, assuming a standard fencing stance. He possessed two katanas, but only drew one, his eyes filled with hatred. - You cowardly bastard, today is the day I repay this blood debt and avenge my father.

Afro still hadn't responded, instead, the moment Jinnosuke attacked, he easily deflected his blade. Jinnosuke screamed and continued to attack, again and again.

Every blow was easily dodged by Afro.

Toji, watching from the side, gradually lost interest, he quickly saw Jinnosuke's level.

While in terms of Afro Kenjutsu he could fight a Kage, Jinnosuke was at best an ordinary Jonin.

For his age, that wasn't bad, he was stronger than the vast majority of samurai, but compared to Afro? Weak.

Jinnosuke also noticed this, but his hatred only intensified. He placed his hand on the hilt of his second sword and drew it as well, using two swords to face Afro. It was immediately clear that he was stronger with two swords, but not to the point of becoming incredibly stronger. His movements lost power but became faster, though still slower than Afro himself.

Jinnosuke, growing increasingly frantic, let out a loud cry and charged towards Afro, ready for anything. He nearly twisted his wrist from the force he used to deflect Afro's blade with one hand, while with the other he stabbed Afro directly in the throat.

Unfortunately for him, Afro merely dodged the neck, Jinnosuke's sword grazing Afro's shoulder, cutting his shirt and lightly cutting his skin, staining the white shirt with blood.

However, Afro did not miss the opportunity, his sword advanced and cut through Jinnosuke's chest.

Toji raised an eyebrow at the sight of the movement, because he could see Afro changing the blade's edge at the last moment, Jinnosuke wasn't cut in half, just thrown flying in pain.

Toji snorted slightly, finding the situation increasingly interesting and curious.

The group of samurai seemed poised to draw their swords and attack Afro, but although Toji's head didn't move, his eyes stared directly at them. A faint smell of sulfur filled the air as the samurai froze. The atmosphere grew warmer, but even so, they felt a tremendous chill inside, the chill of death.

Toji looked away, watching as Afro approached Jinnosuke, who clutched his chest in pain, several bones broken, struggling to breathe without puncturing a lung.

Afro stood over him, looking down at him, still expressionless. Jinnosuke looked like he was about to spit fire, glaring at Afro with tremendous hatred. Afro merely looked at him for a moment and continued walking forward, leaving.

Toji raised an eyebrow, chuckled playfully, jumped down from the tree, patted his backside to brush off the dust, and quickly caught up with Afro, walking beside him, not caring about the frightened Samurai or Jinnosuke writhing in agony on the ground.

It was only after the two figures had left that one of the Samurai, sensing that death had passed, managed to get up and walk, almost stumbling, towards Jinnosuke.

The samurai removed his 'demon' helmet, beneath it, the face of a woman was visible, an incredibly beautiful woman. She bent down, concerned for Jinnosuke. -Brother, don't move, let me see how you are.

Jinnosuke, still trying to get up, gritting his teeth in hatred, felt the dampness falling on him. He finally woke up, looking at his sister crying over him. His hatred grew even heavier, but he finally calmed down.

Lying down and letting her take a look.

The woman sighed in relief and began to inspect the bones. She was surprised, the fracture was clean. It would be quite easy to heal. She only needed to realign the bones and use a little of her medical Jutsu to heal them. She felt strange realizing this, looking in the direction Afro had gone.

She felt the complicated feelings inside her growing.

The man she loved, also the man who destroyed her family.

Afro... why?

Toji continued walking in silence for a long time, he tried to put it aside, but unfortunately his curiosity wouldn't be so easily dismissed.

-So... you want to talk about it?- Toji asked.

-No. - The answer was simple, quick, and direct.

Afro style.

Toji's lips trembled as he spoke. -You know that talking helps, right?

Afro didn't answer, Toji waited a little longer, but the silence continued.

He remained quiet for a few more minutes, using his Byakugan to see the samurai inside the armor before, remembering the girl, he began to speak... - One of the 'beetle' samurai...

Before Toji could finish, Afro looked directly at him, anger deep in his eyes. Toji hadn't seen any anger while Afro fought, but at that moment, it seemed Afro had finally reached a breaking point.

-Shut up.- Afro said.

Toji rolled his eyes, looked away, and continued walking.

They walked quietly for a few more minutes, until Toji continued. -Do you want to make a deal? I can help you get that Samurai girl, she's quite beautiful, those curves... tsk, tsk, she's really big and...

Afro's sword moved, Toji fled quickly as Afro's sword struck empty air, Afro did not give up, chasing Toji, cutting down trees everywhere while Toji laughed incessantly.
