Chapter 5 - 5

The journey toward Coruscant was quiet and uneventful.

That morning, Galahad met Padmé and her entourage while still in his black-and-silver armor. He immediately noticed that the five HK-51s he had gifted her were missing. After asking, he learned that she had decided the droids would remain in service as guards for the Queen or King of Naboo—officially under Naboo's protection—even though they had been personal gifts from him.

Knowing he couldn't press the matter, and that trying to reclaim the droids now would look bad, Galahad let it go with a quiet nod.

As the ship glided through hyperspace, Galahad spent the time talking with Padmé. He shared tales of his adventures across the Outer and Mid Rim worlds, the people he had met, and the lessons he had learned along the way.

He also offered her guidance on the Senate—how to carry herself, how to speak, and how to navigate the complex web of politics and diplomacy. Padmé listened intently, asking questions and absorbing every detail, eager to be prepared for her new role.

Just three days after, they arrive at Coruscant.

Even though Galahad wish to accompany Padme into the Senate building, he is instantly meet with the sight of Yoda on the landing platform.

After bidding farewell to Padmé, Galahad followed Yoda back to the Jedi Temple, heading straight for the Council Chamber.

The journey was silent. Galahad sensed Yoda scanning him through the Force, a quiet but penetrating presence that left no doubt why he had been summoned back.

The moment they arrived, and Yoda had taken his seat, the questioning began.

"News has reached us of your actions in the Outer and Mid-Rim," Ki-Adi-Mundi said in his usual stern tone. "While much of what you have done is commendable, we require answers regarding the disturbing reports we have received."

As he finished, images and videos began to appear across the holodisplays. Many were taken from the perspective of the Judicial Forces, with whom Galahad had operate together during his missions.

The images were stark: pirates and criminals either with broken necks, dead from strangulation, or burned beyond recognition.

Then the videos played, showing the events as they had unfolded—Galahad in the heat of battle, moving with calculated precision, his silver lightsaber flashing in the darkness, enemies falling before him. Each movement efficient, lethal, but executed with the calm control of a Jedi.

The Council watched intently, silence hanging heavy in the chamber as the gravity of his actions was made clear.

Then, Galahad in the video show how those people died.

In one of the video, Galahad while protecting a wounded Judicial from a group of criminals, raise his hand towards the criminals and they immediately raise from the ground and with a turn of hand, their necks simultaneously snap.

Another showed him using the Force to choke a pirate, lifting him into the air as he demanded information about their base. When the pirate refused, Galahad's grip tightened just enough to break his will. The pirate fell lifeless. Galahad then moved to the next pirate, repeating the process until he had the information he needed.

The final video displayed Galahad unleashing Force lightning against pirates who had ambushed him and the Judicial officers while boarding their vessel, instantly killing them and securing the area.

The footage continued, showing similar moments: precision, control, and deadly efficiency. Every action was deliberate, every strike calculated, yet the outcome was often fatal. The Council watched in silence, their faces sorrow for what they have seen, with some glaring at Galahad.

Before the rest of the videos could play, Yoda raised a hand, halting the holoscreen.

"Enough for now," Yoda said, his voice calm but firm.

Mace Windu leaned forward, his expression sharp. "Tell us, Padawan Galahad," he said, his tone edged with concern, "where did you learn these Force techniques? Especially when these are Dark Side techniques?"

"I'm didn't know these are Dark Side techniques," Galahad began, his voice steady. "I learned them myself under Master Fay's guidance during our journeys together."

"I first used Force choke when Master Fay and I were attacked by a group of creatures so large and heavy that Force push wasn't enough. I concentrated the Force around their necks, causing them to retreat. It was defensive, nothing more."

"Force snap," he continued, "is a variation of Force choke. I discovered it by accident while separated from Master Fay during an expedition in a cave. A creature attacked me, and Force choke didn't work on it. I concentrated in a different way, and the Force caused its neck to… break. It wasn't intentional—I was protecting myself."

"I learned Force lightning when I was captured by a group of pirates and they tortured me using electricity," he said, his expression calm but firm. "We were on a mission to destroy their base when I infiltrated the group. Feeling the electricity coursing through my body, I rechanneled it using the Force—and used it against them to escape. Again, only to defend myself and complete the mission."

He paused, letting the Council absorb his explanation. "Masters, at no point did I seek to harm for personal gain or anger. Every time I used these techniques, it was for protection, defense, or to prevent greater harm."

Yoda's ears twitched, and he leaned forward slightly. "Hmmm… protective, your use of power is. Dangerous, these methods are. Tempting, the path to darkness can be. Mindful, you must remain."

Galahad still feeling some of the Masters' doubt, decided there was only one way to show them he wasn't influenced by the Dark Side.

"If you all still do not believe that I am free from the Dark Side," Galahad said, his voice calm but firm as he met each of their eyes, "then I will demonstrate it. Then you all can decided if I'm still follow the Light or already stray away."

Hearing this, many of the Masters nodded and murmur with each other about this. While Galahad can see that Yoda looking at him and shacking his head disappointingly.

In the end, the Council decided that Galahad should demonstrate his abilities at a secluded training ground. He would be observed not only by the High Jedi Council but also by the Council of First Knowledge, who were responsible for eradicating Sith teachings and artifacts across the galaxy—making them the most qualified to evaluate his techniques.

After the demonstration, neither the High Jedi Council nor the Council of First Knowledge detected any anger or hatred in Galahad while he used these techniques. There were no signs of the Dark Side in him. While some remained skeptical, Yoda declared that Galahad was free from Dark Side influence and that his powers did not originate from it.

However, the Council set conditions: Galahad was forbidden from using Force Snap, and Force Choke could only be used under the supervision of a Jedi Master. Force Lightning was permitted, as Master Plo Koon can also use it, but not with the intention to kill.

With these conditions accepted, Galahad was now free to use his techniques during the Clone Wars without concern for the Council's reaction, as long as he remained mindful and disciplined.

Yet many within the Council, led by Mace Windu, remained wary of him. To address their concerns, Yoda decreed that Galahad would study under Mace Windu to learn how to control his inner darkness—how to channel anger and passion without giving in to them.

Although some members of the Council still objected, Mace Windu accepted the decision. He agreed to train Galahad—not as his Padawan, since Galahad still belonged to Master Fay—but as a special student under his guidance.

For the next ten years, Galahad trained under Windu. At times, he returned to Master Fay when she called for him. During those years, he mastered Form VII, Vaapad, and became one of the finest duelists in the Order.

After a decade of strict training, even the most doubtful Council members admitted the truth: Galahad had control over his emotions. He could use dangerous techniques without falling to the Dark Side.

During this time, something else happened.

While escorting Padmé Amidala on a mission to the Outer Rim, their bond deepened. The mission was long and dangerous. They faced death together more than once. In the end, they made a sudden but honest choice.

They married quietly on Naboo, at an estate jointly owned by House Black and House Naberrie. It was a fast decision, made in the moment—but neither of them doubted their feelings. Their love was real.

In 22 BBY, The plot to assassinate Senator Amidala that carried out at the height of the Separatist Crisis by the bounty hunter Zam Wesell, who had been hired to kill Amidala by Jango Fett, himself under the employee of Count Dooku didn't go well for them. The first attempt if Wesell with the platform bombing didn't even go through as Galahad, who arrive to welcome Padme and decided that Versé and the six guards shouldn't died here, disarm the bomb that the bounty hunter already planted at the platform.

Seeing her bomb fail, she just fire her KiSteer 1284 projectile rifle to Versé, who serving as the decoy. Sensing the threat, Galahad launch forward with his silver lightsaber aiming to deflect the shots.

But, while Verséis safe from the shot, Galahad is not. Not knowing that Wesell sniper rifle is a projectile weapon, or a slugthrower, meaning that the shot is not deflected, instead the bullet is melted and hit onto Galahad armor, which the beskar simply shrugged off the shot.

Seeing this, Wesell retreated to rendezvous with Jango Fett and the group upon the platform quickly retreated back into the Senate Building under the protection of Galahad and the Senate Guards.

Once back into Senate Building, Palpatine, who now is the Supreme Chancellor, decided to request the Jedi Council to place Senator Amidala under the protection of Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi. Which the Council accepted and assigned Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker for the task,

Afterward, the whole event continue as in the original timeline, but this time the arthropods don't even get close before Galahad burst into the room and cut them down. While Obi-Wan and Anakin chase the bounty hunter, Galahad stay behind with Padmé , making sure that his involvement didn't change anything.

After the Council order Obi-Wan to track down the bounty hunter, Anakin also been task to guard Padmé, like the original timeline. This time, Palpatine didn't get involve, instead Galahad convince her to return to Naboo, as other than Anakin, there's also the household guards from both Houses and the HK-51 droids to protect her there. And because the Council wanted Galahad to stay within the Temple as Yoda felt the turbulence ahead and wanted every able Jedi to stay together.

As Galahad stay within the Temple, waiting for that fateful day, he wonder how does Anakin and Padmé will arrive at Geonasis, or will both even arrive there. After all, Anakin mother, Shmi Skywalker is not at Tatooine anymore as Galahad have free both of them from Watto with him simply pay the Toydarian.

Now, Shmi is working on Naboo at one of the House Black holding as maid, cleaning the house while provide a room in the holding to live and given a pretty pay for it.

But, all of these are useless doing as Anakin with his connection to Obi-Wan felt that he's in danger and a stray tranmission from Obi-Wan intended for the Council arrive instead to Anakin resulting him decided to go to Geonosis and save Obi-Wan. Padmé sensing that this might be an opportunity to solve the Separatist Crisis diplomatically as she can meet with all the leaders of the CIS, especially Count Dooku, decided to join in.

In the end, both of them arrive at Geonosis to save Obi-Wan but instead capture by the CIS.

When Galahad heard the news while meeting with Yoda and Mace Windu, he mentally facepalmed. Still, he was not too worried about Padmé. He trusted that she would survive.

Instead, Galahad asked to go with Yoda to Kamino, hoping to help plan the Grand Army's first attack and focus on destroying the Separatist core ships early.

But because of his combat skills and special abilities, the Council ordered him to join the Jedi strike team led by Mace Windu to Geonosis.

Knowing he could not change their decision, Galahad accepted the order without argument.
