Serena's POV
I stormed through the castle halls, anger burning in my chest.
Haa… I sighed sharply. Ciel was still the same as ever, I thought.
I knew—I knew—that he believed his intentions were good, but…
gosh, he was infuriating sometimes.
I slowed my steps, forcing myself to breathe. I didn't want to fight anymore. I didn't even want to be angry.
As I walked through the familiar corridors, the anger drained away, replaced by something heavier. My heart felt too overwhelmed to hold onto rage.
Then I knew where I needed to go.
I straightened myself and turned down a quieter corridor, my footsteps echoing as I stopped before a large metal door—the one I had always wondered about when my memories were gone.
But now, I knew exactly what lay behind it.
I approached the gate, and the two guards immediately stiffened.
"We're sorry, Your Majesty, but His Majesty Ciel—"
"It's fine, Pascal," I said calmly.
They froze, shock flashing across their faces. "Your Majesty…?"
