Chapter 38 - 38. The pain and pleasure game

Back in Daisy's apartment....

"Now go back and sleep, okay? You'll be able to manage, right? Or do you want me to call Ms. Lara?" Rain said.

"No-no, I'm good… don't disturb Lara. Thanks," she mumbled.

She tried to walk in a straight line but stumbled, her world spinning. Rain remained at the door, watching her, like a shadow that refused to leave. And the second her body gave way, he sprinted forward, his arm locking around her waist before she hit the floor. The door shut behind them with an echo, trapping them inside together.

"Let me take you to your room. I'll walk out once you've settled," he said.

He laid her on the bed and went to the kitchen to get some water. He had picked up some hangover tablets on the way.

"Here, have this. It'll make you feel better," he said.

"No, I don't want these," she whined, throwing tantrums.

"Stop throwing tantrums and just have it," he ordered.

Daisy still resisted.

Rain sighed, grabbed the glass of water, and filled his mouth. He gently parted her lips and placed the tablet on her tongue, then leaned in, sharing the water with her through a deep, heated kiss. Water and tongues mixed, the moment intense and breathless.

"If you don't listen, that's how it's going to be," he said.

Daisy, a dark romance lover, melted at the tone, absolutely loving it. She wanted to get a proper look at the guy and that's when she realized,

"Mr. Rain? So I'm in my dream?" she asked, confused.

"Finally you recognize me" he said

… but why would I be in her dream? he wondered silently, staring at her, confused.

"Let's do the usual… the one we always do," she slurred as she sat up straight on the bed and started ripping her clothing layers off.

"Wait-wait, ...do what?" he said quickly, stopping her hands from stripping further.

"The dirty one. The pain and pleasure game. I'm ready. So what are we trying today?" she asked, eyes sparkling eagerly.

Rain froze, speechless, staring at her.

This girl seriously needs to stop reading these dirty books, Rain thought helplessly, rubbing his forehead.

"We aren't doing anything tonight. Lay down and sleep," he said firmly.

"How come?" Daisy protested, eyes half-lidded and voice slurring. "Every time I say enough, you tie me and you just keep going… till I break… or till daylight breaks."

Her drunken confession hit him like a storm. Rain flushed.

This girl…I've imagined us doing it a thousand times, but she goes beyond even my imagination.

"God, she is testing every limit I have," he said silently to himself.

"Just sleep," he said, forcing calm into his voice. "I'll answer you tomorrow, when you're sober."

He tucked her in again, but Daisy didn't let him leave.

"You're not sleeping with me?" she asked, eyes softening, arms reaching out. "You always cuddle me after our rough game."

Rain froze.

Then she whispered, small and fragile,

"Please… spoil me, Mr. Rain…"
