Doyun was entirely in his own world, deep in a conversation with his Japanese companion that had clearly evolved past anything language could handle and into something that apparently communicated perfectly without it. His back was mostly to the group but he had the sixth sense of someone who always knew when he was being discussed, and he turned just enough to read their expressions and then glance at the dance floor.
He took all of it in.
Then he looked back at them, fully unbothered, and gave them a single slow middle finger with an enormous grin, spun his companion in a smooth arc, and went back to not caring about any of it.
"That was almost elegant," Jisoo said.
"He's been practicing the spin," Minjae said.
"He has not."
"He absolutely has."
They both watched Doyun for another second.
"He's having the best night," Jisoo said.
"Don't tell him that. He'll make it worse."
