"Rude but accurate," Jisoo admitted cheerfully.
"You guys are being dramatic," Soorin said, but she was smiling.
"We're being honest," Haejin corrected. His tone was softer than usual, protective. "You fit here. Even when you're accidentally insulting broadcasting directors."
"Especially then," Jisoo added, nodding enthusiastically. "Because you fixed it! You're good at fixing things!"
Minjae's expression turned thoughtful. "You stood your ground about what you love while still being respectful. That's not easy to do. Most people either give in to pressure or burn bridges."
"I just didn't want him thinking I was attacking him personally. I was just trying to explain that journalism isn't my passion."
"And you did," Minjae said gently. "Really well, actually."
Soorin's throat got tight. "You guys are going to make me cry again."
