The crew stilled. The room quieted completely.
Soorin took one slow breath through her nose.
'This is your story. Not hers.'

Haejin's thumb moved against the back of her hand. Once.
'We've got this.'
"And we're rolling."
Hyunjoo settled back into her chair with the ease of someone entirely in her element.
"Thank you both for being here today." She looked between them. "Let's start simply. How did you two actually meet?"
"Through work," Haejin said. "She joined LUMEN's styling team. First time I saw her, she was holding a foundation brush and looking at me like I was a problem she needed to figure out."
Soorin kept her expression neutral. "You weren't easy to read."
"I was focused."
"You were unapproachable."
"Those can be the same thing."
"They really can't."
Hyunjoo smiled. "So not love at first sight."
"Absolutely not," Soorin confirmed. "We didn't particularly like each other at first."
