"Did anything happen in Las Vegas during the last tour?"
Haejin's voice stayed even. "Las Vegas was significant for us. That's when I started seeing Soorin differently—not just as a colleague. We grew genuinely close during that trip. More than just idol and staff."
"But timing was complicated," Soorin added. "So we left it where it was. Real friendship."
Manager Park studied them both. "That answer is good. It acknowledges Vegas without confirming anything romantic." He leaned forward. "If she pushes further: 'The timing wasn't right. There were circumstances we had to respect. So whatever we felt, we kept it between us.' That protects everyone."
"And if she asks about Yura directly?" Soorin asked.
"That one goes to Haejin alone." Manager Park looked at him. "The public statement stands. The relationship was a professional arrangement. Both parties have moved on. You wish her well."
"And if she pushes past that?"
