"The same agent who's been missing since the scandal broke," Taekyung added.
Doyun grabbed his phone. Started typing fast.
"What are you doing?" Jisoo asked.
"Looking her up. Kim Nari. There has to be something..."
He scrolled. Frowned. Kept scrolling.
Then he stopped. His face went white.
"What?" Haejin moved closer.
"Kim Nari. She changed her name. Eight years ago."
"From what?" Soorin asked.
"Lee Nari."
The name meant nothing to Soorin. But Haejin looked like he'd been shot.
"No," he whispered.
"What?" Manager Park demanded. "Who's Lee Nari?"
Doyun was still reading. "Before she became an agent, she worked at AUREYA. As an assistant."
He looked up. Met Haejin's eyes.
"To a manager. Your old manager."
The room exploded again.
"She was there?"
"She knew?"
"All this time?"
Haejin sat down hard. Like his legs had given out.
"She was there," he said. Voice hollow. "She knew what he was doing. She probably helped arrange it."
