"Haejin! Get back inside! Now!"
Manager Park's voice cut through the night air like a blade.
Haejin didn't move. His hand still rested on Soorin's shoulder, fingers pressing into the damp fabric of her champagne-soaked shirt.
"I said now!"
"I heard you the first time."
"Then why are you still standing there?"
Soorin stepped back, breaking contact. Her hands trembled as she wiped at her ruined clothes. The sticky liquid had already dried in patches, making her skin feel tight and uncomfortable.
"This is insane," she muttered.
Haejin turned to her. "What is?"
"All of it. You. This. Just go back inside."
"Are you okay?"
"I'm fine. Just go deal with whatever mess you just made."
Manager Park stormed closer. His footsteps echoed off the pavement. Behind him, security personnel hovered near the club entrance, unsure whether to intervene.
"Do you have any idea what you just did in there?" Manager Park demanded.
