Chapter : 2 : Fist Life Simulation :
After closing the curtains of his house and making sure no one was around except him Xiao Ming went to his bedroom and set comfortably in a meditative position to start his first life simulation .
" Phew ! Alright here goes nothing . Please system give me something good out of this . "
With that he released a long breath that he didn't knew he was holding and pressed the life simulation button .
Suddenly a wave of energy surged through his body .
But he felt no pain as if the energy was as calm as soothing water .
Soon he felt as if he had no more weight began to drift in a peaceful state as the sounds from outside world disappeared entirely bringing him into a still position of great calmness and tranquility .
In this state he had completely immersed himself in the life simulation and the activities of the outside world no longer affected him .
" Ding ! Life simulation begins - "
( Day - 1 : After the end of the test you went back to your own house and trained throughout the day and then went to sleep . )
( Day - 2 : You woke up early in the morning to train in the clan training grounds and trained 4 hours to stabilize and master your current realm . )
( Day - 4 : On this day when you what about to go training and in a abandoned training ground in the clan when you noticed a huge crowd in the plaza .

After sometime the clan head followed by the clan elders came and announced the start of a teaching class where all the members who participated in last Dou Qi test for the next four months before the start of the recruitment of mythical dragon sect begins . )
( Day - 6 : You woke up early in the morning and after meditating you went to the training hall where you and others were led to a huge training arena . There you sat at a corner , when the 2nd elder of the clan Xiao Han entered the room and started to teach some theory regarding Dou Qi to you all with Xiao Yun showing exceptional brilliance in each subject .
After the class ended you left the area with others and went to your house . )
( Day - 12 : While going through the clan compund you heard about a treasure map hidden in the flower garden outside the clan compound . This picked your interest . )
( Day - 14 : Today you finally stabilized your Mid Qi Sensing stage and now unsure how to advance further you decided that at the next class you will ask the second elder about it . )
( Day - 22 : Today after cultivating throughout the day when you were about to go to sleep you suddenly found a small box in a hidden corner of the room that you never noticed and when you picked it up you found it was a letter from your parents saying that the box is your inheritance and you must only open it when you have reached the complete stage of Core Formation . )
( Day - 24 : A practical combat exam is held by the second elder and you are matched up against the second son of fourth elder and after a few minutes of struggling you lose . )
( Day - 32 : As you are going through your clan compound you came across some seniors who were just coming from the treasury hall and accidentally dropped a Mid Yellow Grade Fist Technique known as Evading Fist Style .
You called them back and give it to them quickly . Seeing your honest attitude the seniors were very happy and give you a bottle of 1st tier body refinment pills . )
( Day - 38 : You continue your training as you find out that the recruitment for the Mythical Dragon sect might happen one month sooner than expected .
This caused you to become nervous as you have not yet reached the required level , making you think about venturing out of the clan compound to find the treasure map you have heard about . )
( Day - 42 : You continue to train but your progress is very slow and you consider going outside the clan compound even more . )
( Day - 46 : You went out of the clan compound without notifying anyone to find the treasure map however were attacked by a magical beast and your journey permanently ended . )

{ Rewards : There are 3 rewards and normally you can choose only one of the following but since this is your first time doing the life simulation you will be allowed to take 2 out of the 3 :
( 1 ) The teachings taught by the second elder during his classes .
( 2 ) The Mid Yellow Grade Evading Fist Technique .
( 3 ) A bottle of 1st tier Body Refinment pills - total - 12 pills .

As the life simulation ended Xiao Ming slowly opened his eyes as he left his meditative posture .
The moment he opened his eyes he felt a wave of uneasiness and dizziness wash over him most likely due to the fact that he was using the life simulation for the first time and was not yet accustomed to it .
But before he could see the rewards of the life simulation he was more preoccupied with what he learned from the life simulation itself about the future possibilities than the rewards .
' A teaching session for the next 4 month it would be quite beneficial to me specially if it is conducted by the second elder himself ' - he thought to himself .
" It must be because this year Xiao Yun and other grand sons and grand daughters of the prestigious elders in the clan are also in this generation that the second elder is personally coming to teach . "
And it perfectly made sense because from what he knew this year a huge number of such talented childrens were there and while none of them came close to someone like Xiao Yun , their talents were certainly considered very good .
As for how this effected him it was both good and bad .
" The good side is that unlike the previous years I will be able to get to learn under the second elder unlike some random senior or normal elders of the clan and while currently most of the attention will be given to Xiao Yun and other talented students it is still better than nothing . "
The bad thing is that being in the same batch as the young prodigious members of the clan no matter what even if you are a background character the attention and spotlight you will get is more than you would get otherwise .

One thing that Xiao Ming has no illusion about is that he is that he can't thinkevery thing to go according to his plans because this isn't a video game . No ! it's life .
Then he looked at the other things that he learned from the life simulation when his attention went to the the box that he found in the light simulation apparently belonging to his parents in this life .
" How strange ? When I came to this world I think I checked everywhere in the house but I don't remember ever seen that box . "
After that he started looking for the same hidden corner as the one from the life simulation and after sometime he found that it was in a barely noticable side of the room where his parents lived .
There in the corner he found a small statue and when he moved it the box with a letter on top came out from the hidden compartment .
" I wonder what they have left for me and what does it mean by ' open it only where you have reached the complete core stage in cultivation ' . " - with curiosity in mind he opened the letter and started reading the letter .
" Dear Son ( Xiao Ming ) ,
If you are reading this letter that means we are not there for you anymore .
I know it must be very heart breaking for you to accept our passing but you must keep going on my dear son we know that you have a bright future ahead yourself .
We wanted to see you grow up and see more of your adventures but unfortunately we can't anymore so we have left you a small but important inheritance inside this box .
But you must not open this box until and unless you have atleast reached the complete core formation stage in your cultivation and this is the bare minimum required for you to open the box .
Hence the box has also been sealed with a magical array formation so unless you can reach the set level you can't open it and it's marked with your Dou Qi so that only you can open it .
I know you must be wondering why would we put such restrictions and we understand that but we can't write the reason for it in this letter you will have to find out when you open the box yourself .
And make sure to eat daily healthy food don't skip baths and make sure to wake up properly . Also if you find a girlfriend make sure that you treat her well and don't be a playboy .

Tears fell from Xiao Ming's eyes as he read the letter and finally he couldn't hold in anymore and started crying .
" Mother ... Sob ! ... Father ... Sob ! I will live a life worth living I promise . " - he said as he clutched the letter to his heart .
As someone who lacked family love in his previous life and couldn't even meet his caring parents in this new life the sorrow and the sadness in his heart was immiserable .
( Author's Note : Hello guys I hope you all are doing well and before continuing any further I would like to say something about the main character that I have already said before in my introduction chapter and that is that the main character will not be a cold hearted main character who only sees the world through the eyes of profit and loss .
This sadness that the main character feels is his emotional side that makes him human not some cold genius whose main focus is only on survival .
As I have mentioned before the main character will have human emotions and will make mistakes . A balance between both emotional side and rational side is what I am looking for , so I hope you will understand what I am saying and well continue supporting it . )
After reading the letter from his parents his heart became even more decided on his path that he would live his life to the fullist .
Then he quickly and carefully folded the letter and kept it's safely with the box a memory of his parents in this world that he never met that he will cherish for the rest of his life .
" Alright no way I am opening the box now if my parents had instructed me not to then their must be some reason behind it . " - with that he looked one last time at the box with a silent promise that he would reach the complete core formation stage as soon as possible .
And he knew exactly what to do for that as he looked upon the rewards from the life simulation .
As he looked at the three rewards his eyes became sharp considering which one to choose .
This would be his first big step and he will make no mistakes .
