----------------------------------------------------------

Emiya carefully explained to Artoria what a Lostbelt was, and what its final fate would be.

By the end of it, Artoria had retreated into silence.

Of course, Emiya wasn't doing this to hurt her.

He wasn't that malicious.

He simply wanted her to understand in advance that her wish could never be fulfilled, so there wouldn't be a conflict later when the Holy Grail was purified.

Putting everything on the table was better for Emiya, for Artoria, and for everyone involved.

CĂş Chulainn, on the other hand, couldn't care less about Lostbelts.

He was far more interested in meeting powerful opponents from other worlds, and hoped Emiya could help him fulfill that wish.

As long as he could fight someone strong, everything else was negotiable.

Medea stood beside Emiya, watching the scene with a soft chuckle.

She found it rather entertaining.

As for Emiya, after landing a clean hit where it hurt the most, he went to wash up, lay down on the bed, and fell straight into a deep sleep.

With three Heroic Spirits guarding him, his sleep was unusually peaceful.

The night passed quietly.

The next morning, after checking out of the hotel, Emiya was led by CĂş Chulainn into the mountains, toward the Twin Mansion.

Inside, someone was still lying on the floor.

The cross-dressing beauty.

Bazett.

After being deceived by Kirei Kotomine, Bazett had her right arm severed and was left there to die.

But she didn't actually die.

At the moment she was closest to death, her wish of "not wanting to die" was answered by Angra Mainyu.

Because of that, she formed a contract with Angra Mainyu and became active within the "four days between dream and reality."

Incidentally, Angra Mainyu was the one who polluted the Holy Grail.

Anyone familiar with Fate knew his origins.

According to the original plot, Bazett's real body would later be discovered by Caren Hortensia after remaining in suspended animation for half a year.

She would eventually wake up.

After that, she temporarily cut ties with the Clock Tower. With nowhere to live and no income, she stayed at Emiya Shirou's house while looking for work.

However, with Emiya's group involved, there was no need to wait half a year.

They arrived at the Twin Mansion in the morning.

Medea cast several spells and forcibly pulled Bazett out of the "four days between dream and reality."

But Bazett didn't wake up.

Seeing this, CĂş Chulainn couldn't help asking, "Why isn't she waking up? Did your spell mess up?"

"Are you questioning my skill?" Medea replied coldly, clearly displeased.

"Then why is she still unconscious?"

"Because she doesn't want to wake up," Medea said flatly.

After being betrayed by Kirei Kotomine, Bazett had completely despaired of reality.

Even after being pulled out of that liminal state, she refused to awaken.

This was her own will.

Even Medea couldn't do anything about it.

CĂş Chulainn clicked his tongue.

He actually understood.

Life was never smooth sailing.

When he was alive, he was dominant on the battlefield, appearing carefree on the surface, but there were still things he didn't want to face.

He had thought about escaping reality himself.

The difference was that he eventually overcame it.

Running away simply wasn't in his nature.

So he could understand Bazett's desire to escape.

"But is there really no way?" he asked.

"It's not that there's no way," Medea said.

"If she refuses to wake up, then we'll force her awake. I can send the Master into her dream."

Emiya froze.

"Why me? Can't CĂş Chulainn do it?"

Medea smiled.

"Of course he can. But I think Master is more suitable."

"This girl's Command Seals were stolen by Kirei Kotomine. In her heart, she believes CĂş Chulainn betrayed her."

"If CĂş Chulainn appears, it may provoke her. So you are the better choice."

Emiya looked at Medea, half-believing, half-skeptical.

"Is that so?"

"Does Master not trust me?" Medea asked.

"How could I not?"

Emiya shook his head.

He knew Medea wouldn't harm him.

So he nodded.

"Alright. I'll wake Bazett up. What do I need to do?"

Medea pointed at the sofa beside her.

"Just lie down. I'll handle the rest."

Emiya walked over and lay down.

Medea stepped closer, extended a finger, and pressed it lightly against his brow.

"Don't resist my power, Master."

Emiya nodded and relaxed his mind.

The moment her finger touched him, a powerful wave of drowsiness flooded his consciousness.

He yawned once.

Then fell asleep.

Immediately after, Emiya felt a massive force seize him, pulling him toward somewhere unknown.

Instinctively, he tried to resist.

Then a voice echoed in his ear.

"Don't resist my power, Master."

Medea's voice.

Emiya let go.

He was dragged downward, plunging into a bottomless abyss.

He couldn't tell if seconds or minutes passed.

At the bottom of the abyss, a point of light appeared.

Emiya flew toward it.

The light grew larger, turning into a massive entrance.

He passed through it.

In an instant, Emiya found himself inside the Twin Mansion.

But something was off.

The mansion was empty.

No Bazett.

No CĂş Chulainn.

No Medea.

No Artoria.

Only Emiya remained.

Then Medea's voice slowly echoed.

"Master, you are now inside Bazett's dream. Your only goal is to find her and bring her out."

Emiya nodded and took a step forward.

He began walking through the mansion.

To outsiders, the Twin Mansion was nothing more than a haunted house.

It was completely empty.

Untouched for years, dust coated the floors and windows.

Furniture like sofas and coffee tables were covered with white sheets, preserved in eerie stillness.

Emiya's footsteps echoed as he walked alone.

He searched the mansion multiple times.

Bazett was nowhere to be found.

That made him pause.

Was she not inside the mansion?

Just as he was considering that possibility, Emiya glanced out a window.

Someone was standing outside.

A cross-dressing beauty in a bean-red suit with a magenta tie.

Short magenta hair. Matching pupils.

A teardrop mole beneath her left eye.

A serious, beautiful face.

Bazett.

Under Emiya's gaze, Bazett pushed open the iron gate and walked in.

Emiya went downstairs.

As he reached the first floor, the main door opened.

Bazett stepped inside.

"Who are you?" she asked sharply.

She clearly hadn't expected to see anyone here.

"I'm here to take you out, Miss Bazett Fraga McRemitz," Emiya said.

"Take me out?"

Bazett immediately raised her guard and adopted a fighting stance.

"Are you a participant in the Holy Grail War?"

Emiya frowned.

Something was wrong.

Her reaction didn't match.

Medea's voice sounded again, audible only to him.

"The betrayal was too painful. In her dream, she subconsciously forgot it. She believes she has just arrived in Fuyuki City."

Emiya understood immediately.

"So what should I do?" he asked.

Bazett glanced around warily.

Was this man talking to someone else?

Medea answered calmly.

"Be simple. Be brutal. Wake her up by hitting her."

Emiya nodded.

That was straightforward.

His arms turned black in an instant.

Even in a dream, he could use Armament Haki.

"Be careful, Miss Bazett."

He bent forward and charged.

In the next instant, he appeared in front of her.

The air rippled as his body tore through it.

So fast.

Bazett's vision blurred.

She didn't even see how he moved.

Instinctively, she raised her arms to shield her face.

She thought the punch would land there.

She was wrong.

Emiya's fist slammed into her abdomen.

The impact sent Bazett flying.

She smashed through the mansion's front door and was launched outside with a deafening crash.

Emiya didn't stop.

He kicked off the ground and closed the distance before she could rise.

BANG.

He swung his leg like a soccer kick.

Bazett raised her left arm at the last moment.

The kick still targeted her abdomen.

But her arm intercepted it.

CRACK.

Bone shattered.

Her left arm twisted into a grotesque shape.

Bazett screamed uncontrollably.

"Do you remember now, Miss Bazett?"

Emiya stopped there.

Medea had said this much was enough.

The pain and shock shattered the dream's distortion.

Bazett remembered everything.

Her arm severed by Kirei Kotomine.

Her Command Seals stolen.

The betrayal.

She had been completely deceived.

The memories were agonizing.

She had buried them deliberately.

And now-

Thanks to Emiya, she remembered them all again.
