Emiya replied calmly, "I'm here to see your commander, White Chase Smoker. Please inform him."
Seeing that Emiya was polite, the Marines relaxed slightly, but they didn't lower their guard.
One of them said, "Wait here. I'll go report to Captain Smoker."
"Alright."
The Marine leaned toward his companion and spoke in a low voice.
"I'll inform the captain. You stay here and watch them. If they make any suspicious moves, sound the alarm immediately."
His companion nodded.
The Marine turned and went inside.
Emiya's group remained at the entrance and waited quietly.
Before long, the Marine returned.
"Captain Smoker invites you in."
"Thank you."
"Follow me."
The Marine led them into the main building of the base and up to the top floor, where they stopped in front of a large double wooden door.
He halted and turned to Emiya.
"Captain Smoker is waiting inside."
Emiya nodded and pushed the door open.
Smoker sat behind his desk.
White hair slicked back. Goggles hanging around his neck. A cigar clenched between his teeth.
He looked up the moment Emiya's group entered.
His eyes narrowed.
"It's you."
Emiya froze for a moment.
"You know me?"
"Don't underestimate Marine intelligence," Smoker said.
He picked up a sheet of paper from his desk and tossed it over.
Emiya caught it.
It was a wanted poster.
His wanted poster.

Emiya was genuinely surprised.
It made sense that he would be wanted for attacking the Sixteenth and One Hundred Fifty-Third Marine Branches in the East Blue.
