The next morning, he waited in the same part of the forest. Hinari wasn't here. He sat on a log for 5 minutes, 10, 15, 20... He looked around at nothing, then he suddenly looked up; her legs were wrapped around the branch, and she was looking at Kairo. Almost... hunger in her eyes. "You actually noticed me this time..." She then grabbed the branch and gripped it with her claws. She then unwrapped her legs and hung from one hand. "You have claws?"
"As I said, I'm a cat. But took you 19 minutes to notice me." She shook her head as she said this. "But I noticed you." Kairo said, a little annoyed, before Hinari shrugged, "I guess." She dropped down next to Kairo, then she walked around him. There was no sound to her footsteps; he spun around, and she wasn't there. Kairo looked up; nothing. Kairo then felt a poke to the side of his calf; there Hinari was, squatting down. "Funny thing about Jaguars... They are silent and strong." She said the last part quietly.
Kairo then heard a branch snap behind him, and as he turned, he was poked in the back again. "You're listening for me." Kairo then laughed; it was making him crazy. Then a rock flew quickly right between his eyes. He barely managed to raise his hand, and the rock hit his hand. "Ahh Shi—" She just looked at him from a tree, then he left a pair of eyes on him... He turned to see no one there.
Then he finally saw her; she was about to poke the front of his leg. "Oh?" She suddenly stood up; she chuckled, not because she was happy but because she was about to ramp up the difficulty. She walked behind Kairo, and she was gone. "Don't listen for a voice." Kairo turned to where the voice came from. "Wrong." She wasn't there. "Don't look for me either. Feel my valence."
Kairo suddenly felt a jolt; he squirmed, but Hinari was nowhere nearby. Then he looked to his right, and Hinari came out from a bush.
