Chapter 46: Hinari slipped Kairo's wind punch by Kairo. Hinari then jumped back. Hinari stood still, and Kairo punched; it completely missed... Hinari rolled her eyes.

"Again—" Hinari punched the back; her knuckles were split, and Master Akabane watched before she fell to the ground... Hinari hated the idea of training, protecting the weak. She was a Tier 1... She would live forever, and she would do it protecting people she considered lesser than herself. "Again!" But this time Hinari stopped; she was small, she was weak, and she was 6. "I hate this." Master Akabane screwed up his face. "I don't care. The bag. Now." She punched the bag.

"How did you miss? I get I'm small, but you shouldn't miss me that badly." Kairo scoffed before charging at her. He tried to use the wind, but her fist was placed firmly in his abdomen. Kairo folded immediately; he was clutching his stomach, and Hinari crouched down in front of him. "You tier 3s are so weak and so fragile."
Kairo wheezed, "Why do you have people because they don't have your weird cat ears?" But Hinari laughed; it was cold and dark. She put her foot on his head. "Because you live short lives, you're weak, and you multiply like ants whilst demanding more from Tier 1s." As Kairo rose, he smirked. "What would Lucan—" "Lucan this! Lucan that! Lucan isn't here, and you flock to someone strong that looks like you, but Lucan... he was nothing like you."
Kairo started to look up as she took a step back. "I mean, you talk about him like he made you." Hinari watched Kairo stand up, and as it looked like Kairo was about to talk, a powerful gust of wind came from his mouth, blowing Hinari back; however, she twisted and landed on all fours. "You do realise I'm a cat; blowing me away isn't exactly going to kill me." She then walked towards him. "And we are done."
"But do you actually believe the superiority bullsh—" She looked at him with a blank expression. "Yes."
