Chapter 4 - WAKING DOWN TO HALL !!

(⌐■_■) {HELLO READER, SORRY FOR DELAY .. THESE WEEK THERE WILL BE MORE UPDATE, SO KEEP IT UP}

Allen opened his eyes.

Still in the bathtub. Same warm water surrounding him.

(⌐■_■) {Who takes a relaxing bath to think about being isekai'd?}

Alright, he thought. This is real. I'm not crazy. And if this is real, then it's probably dangerous.

"My lord?" a maid asked. "Are you done bathing?"

"Yes," Allen replied. "I'm done."

He stood up and wrapped a towel around himself. The maid turned away quickly, like she had done this a thousand times.

(⌐■_■) {You're handling this better than expected.}

Another maid entered with his clothes, followed by a young lad carrying them carefully.

"Please change, my lord."

Allen started dressing. And that was when he noticed it.

He didn't struggle. His hands moved naturally. Shirt first. Arms through the sleeves. He turned so the maid could tie the ropes at his back. He adjusted the coat like he had worn it all his life.

(⌐■_■) {This body already knows what to do.}

I've never dressed like this before, he thought. So why does it feel normal?

The answer was obvious. This body remembers things he didn't. That probably explained the language too. He didn't need to think before speaking. The words just came out.

(⌐■_■) {Talking feels natural now.}

Once dressed, he nodded. "Take me to breakfast."

The maid and the lad followed him into the hallway. The corridor was long and wide, made of stone, with decorations he didn't recognize.

Allen walked confidently, even though he had no idea where he was going.

(⌐■_■) {Acting confident saves you.}

He let his body guide him, step by step. Then he reached a four-way intersection.

Nothing felt wrong. Which meant he had no clue where to go.

Allen stopped. "I'm going back to my room," he said. "I need the toilet."

The maid bowed. "Of course, my lord."

He turned and walked a few steps back. Then stopped again.

"Actually," he said, rubbing his forehead, "I'll eat first. It can wait."

He waved his hand forward. "Let's go."

(⌐■_■) {That toilet excuse worked perfectly.}

Allen slowed down slightly and let the maid and the lad walk ahead of him. Good, he thought. Now I just have to follow them.

Two turns later, a large entrance appeared.

So that's the dining hall, he thought, embarrassed. I was overthinking it.

(⌐■_■) {Letting them lead was smart.}

He walked inside. The hall was huge. Stone walls, high ceiling, a long table stretching across the room. Seven or eight people were already seated, talking and eating.

"…you should've told him sooner—"

"—that's not my fault—"

"I'm saying the food is cold—"

Allen moved toward an empty chair.

"Hey! Sit already!"

A girl around fifteen snapped at him, mouth half full. "I'm hungry and you're blocking the food."

Allen paused. Then sat.

(⌐■_■) {Everyone notices you acting strange.}

A woman in her forties looked at him. "You're late today."

"Sorry," Allen said.

She nodded. "Eat."

She was sitting near an old man at the center of the table. He looked calm, serious, and important.

That's probably the king, Allen thought. And she's probably close to him.

The old man glanced at Allen. "You're quiet."

"Just tired," Allen replied.

The girl snorted. "He's acting weird."

"More than usual?" someone else asked.

Laughter followed.

(⌐■_■) {Focus and don't mess up.}

Food was placed in front of him without question.

Allen ate slowly, listening more than speaking.

He kept his head down and his mouth busy.

(⌐■_■) {Current objective: finish breakfast without causing chaos.}
