After summoning [Thundercrash Mammoth] and using the Spell Card "Jumpy Dumpty – Projection," Klee still had three cards left in her hand. "I set two cards face-down... My turn is over!" Klee wore a bright smile, as if she had already woven a perfect trap and was waiting for Diluc to walk right into it.
Seeing Klee's smile, Diluc felt something was off. With Klee's turn ended, he began his own. Diluc looked toward his Deck—he kept having the feeling he would draw a Jumpy Dumpty. Even so, despite the risk of being blown up by one, he could only draw.
"My turn!"
"Draw!"
The spectators watching Diluc and Klee's duel were brimming with excitement. Everyone was curious whether Diluc would draw Jumpy Dumpty.
Diluc looked at the drawn card—it wasn't Jumpy Dumpty. He let out a quiet breath of relief. It was "Mystical Space Typhoon."
"Mystical Space Typhoon" can destroy one Spell/Trap Card on the field. For Diluc, that meant he could target the "Swords of Revealing Light" on Klee's field. That way, he could deal with the [Thundercrash Mammoth] she controlled. Otherwise, on her next turn, Klee would definitely stuff even more Jumpy Dumpties into his Deck. Every Jumpy Dumpty triggers automatically when drawn, explodes on the spot, and deals 500 Life Points of damage.
However, aside from "Swords of Revealing Light," Klee also had two set cards.
"I activate the Spell Card 'Mystical Space Typhoon'! Destroy 'Swords of Revealing Light'!"
Diluc's "Mystical Space Typhoon" activated successfully. A violent windstorm surged from the card in his hand, sweeping straight toward the three enormous blades of light. Once they were gone, he would be free to attack.
The fierce gusts swallowed the swords of light. They shattered into fragments of radiance before vanishing.
"Wow, 'Swords of Revealing Light' got destroyed!"
"Now Master Diluc can attack."
"Yeah..."
"Go, Master Diluc!"
Many people cheered him on. Diluc nodded, eyes firm.
"Next, I activate the Spell Card 'Destiny Draw'! I discard 1 'Destiny HERO' card from my hand to draw 2 cards. I discard 'Destiny HERO - Dasher.' Draw two cards..."
Just as Diluc prepared to draw from his Deck, Klee hurriedly shouted, "I activate the Trap Card 'Chain Detonation'! When the opponent draws cards outside of the Draw Phase—add three 'Jumpy Dumpties' into the opponent's Deck!"
Three Jumpy Dumpties appeared in Klee's hand. She juggled them playfully before tossing them into Diluc's Deck.
At that moment, the [Thundercrash Mammoth] on her field emitted a faint crackle of lightning.
"[Thundercrash Mammoth] effect activate! Whenever you add cards to your own or your opponent's Deck, add an extra copy of the same card!"
Since Klee added three Jumpy Dumpties into Diluc's Deck, another three appeared in her hand. She threw those in as well.
Now there were a total of ten Jumpy Dumpties in Diluc's Deck. If this continued, his Deck would eventually become nothing but bombs. Thinking of that made Klee giggle.
Even so, the two cards Diluc drew weren't Jumpy Dumpties. Klee looked mildly disappointed.
Diluc drew another card.
"I activate a Field Spell—'The Mausoleum of the Emperor'!"
Diluc's voice echoed as the card shimmered with a mysterious radiance, as though awakening an ancient power. He placed "The Mausoleum of the Emperor" into the Field Zone.
In an instant, the entire field was shrouded in gloom. The scenery warped into the tomb of an ancient Egyptian pharaoh—walls lined with carvings and murals, the air filled with a chilling, decayed aura. A sense of dread washed over the onlookers. Children widened their eyes, clinging to nearby adults.
Seeing this Field Spell, everyone wondered what effect it held.
"I activate the effect of 'The Mausoleum of the Emperor'! I pay 1000 Life Points as the cost for a Tribute Summon. I Tribute Summon [Destiny HERO - Dreadmaster]."
1000 Life Points were deducted.

On Diluc's field, a man in purple shorts appeared like a specter. His muscles bulged with immense strength, and though a steel mask hid his face, it couldn't conceal the cold resolve in his eyes. His massive frame stood like a war god descending. Chains on his hands and ankles glinted coldly, like a beast freshly unleashed from its restraints.
[Destiny HERO - Dreadmaster] Level 8│DARK│Warrior│? ATK / ? DEF
The onlookers were filled with curiosity.
"This monster's Attack and Defense are both '?'!"
"What's going on..."
"It looks really strong... but having question marks for stats is so strange."
While the crowd murmured, Diluc spoke with confidence:
"I activate [Destiny HERO - Dreadmaster]'s effect! I Special Summon [Destiny HERO - Dasher] from the Graveyard."
