As Diluc successfully activated the effect of [Destiny HERO - Dreadmaster], a humanoid monster formed from a black chariot appeared on his field.
[Destiny HERO - Dasher], true to its name, looked as though its entire body overflowed with momentum. Its pitch-black form radiated explosive force, ready to dash forth at any moment.

On Diluc's field, aside from Dreadmaster, there was only one monster—[Destiny HERO - Dasher].
Therefore, [Destiny HERO - Dreadmaster]'s Attack and Defense became Dasher's original Attack: 2100.
Though 2100 Attack wasn't particularly high, it was still enough to defeat Klee's [Thundercrash Mammoth].
"Battle Phase!"
"[Destiny HERO - Dreadmaster], attack [Thundercrash Mammoth]!"
The moment Diluc issued the command, Dreadmaster leapt into the air. It hurled out a chain, seizing the Thundercrash Mammoth. Even as the mammoth released waves of blue Electro sparks, it collapsed helplessly beneath Dreadmaster's binding chains.
When Thundercrash Mammoth shattered, it exploded—its crackling lightning shot toward Klee.
Thundercrash Mammoth had 1200 Attack, while Dreadmaster had 2100 Attack. Klee took 900 battle damage.

Yet, [Destiny HERO - Dasher] had not acted.
"[Destiny HERO - Dasher], direct attack!"
Diluc called out again, but Klee swiftly activated a set card.
"Bomb - Defense! When you control no monsters, Special Summon two [Defense Bombs] (ATK/DEF: 0/0)! Defense Bombs will automatically explode at the start of your next turn! Your opponent takes 500 Life Points of damage."
Amid the tense atmosphere, Klee decisively activated the Trap Card Bomb - Defense. Determination and courage flashed in her eyes as she gripped the card tightly.
Two large shield-like [Defense Bombs] instantly appeared before her, standing firm like her stalwart guardians. They radiated a soft, reassuring glow—as if telling her: Don't be afraid. We'll protect you.

Now, Diluc needed to dismantle the bombs on Klee's field. Otherwise, when her turn arrived, the [Defense Bombs] would explode and deal damage to him.
Because Diluc had paid 1000 Life Points to use "The Mausoleum of the Emperor," his Life Points were now 3000. And at this moment, over one-fourth of his Deck was filled with Jumpy Dumpties.
If he wanted to win, he had to end the duel quickly. The longer the duel dragged on, the more dangerous it became.
Since Klee had two Defense Bombs on her field, Diluc's [Destiny HERO - Dasher] could not attack directly. He could only target the Defense Bomb.
"[Destiny HERO - Dasher], attack [Defense Bomb]!"
Diluc commanded Dasher once more.
[Destiny HERO - Dasher] instantly transformed into a black chariot, surging forward like a warrior bursting from the shadows, accompanied by a thunderous roar.
The chariot charged at incredible speed, rushing straight toward the [Defense Bomb] on Klee's field. The bomb was destroyed instantly, reduced to dust.
Albeit, because the Defense Bombs were in Defense Position, Klee took no damage.
"I set two cards. Turn end."
After destroying one of the Defense Bombs, Diluc set two cards and ended his turn.
At this moment, two monsters with 2100 Attack each stood on his field.
Seeing this, the spectators felt Diluc had nearly secured victory. On Klee's field was only one remaining Defense Bomb with 0 ATK and 0 DEF. She had only one card left in her hand, while Diluc controlled two monsters with 2100 Attack.
If Klee couldn't turn the situation around this turn, Diluc would almost certainly win.
Unless... Diluc drew five Jumpy Dumpties in a row. The chances were low, but not impossible.
Yet Klee showed no hint of panic.
"My turn—draw!"
"I believe in my bond with my Deck."
Klee drew with all her might, her small hand tracing an arc of shimmering light.
"[Explosive Genius - Klee]!"
Seeing the card, she nodded firmly.
As her turn began, the Defense Bomb's effect activated.
The shield atop the Defense Bomb vanished. Beneath it was a black-and-red Jumpy Dumpty, which rolled toward Diluc.
Boom!!!
The explosion blasted him. Diluc lost 500 Life Points.
