The three gigantic monsters were slowly closing in on Levin , instead of panicking he was calm but inside his head a lot of thoughts were forming ' Why can't I rest for even a bit , I'm still tired from my last battle and now this it's like they were waiting for me , they saw me fighting a non-stop battle and now they think I'm an easy prey, I will show you that you shouldn't take me lightly'.
Levin stood few meters away from the monsters , levin was about to form a sword out of shadows again but this time he thought of using something else he formed an odachi from shadows but he wasn't done , Levin covered his body with an armour from the shadows .
Levin thought he would be an idiot to face them without an armour, Levin knew straight on attacks won't work on them.
After thinking for a while levin decided to try something new again levin formed his 'flame blade' , a black odachi formed from shadows was in his right hand and a blade of fire was in his left hand .
Levin looked up to their towering figures and said"Now allow me to show you the dance of shadow and fire".
As the words came out of Levin's mouth he charged forward with a slight use of wind on his feet his speed was double , to a normal eye it would look like he vanished but the truth is Levin was moving so fast that it would be difficult even for other awakeneds to see but that gigantic monster reacted instantly , Levin aimed towards his right shoulder but in the last moment it reacted so fast that it caught Levin off guard sensing the danger behind him Levin brought both of his weapons in front to form a defensive stance in mid air but that giant punched him with his left hand , the raw power of his punch was so great that Levin felt his whole body trembling,levin was thrown back with so much speed that he was crashed into a wall .
Levin threw a mouth full of blood and fell the impact was so great that he could feel it 3 of his ribs were broken and his body was trembling , he was trying to stand up again he was using his weapons for support but levin was shaken down to the core.
Levin thought 'How the hell am I suppose to fight this guy' his punch was so packed that I would have died if he didn't brought his weapons in front of him even with the armour of shadows he still took a lot of damage .
Levin wanted to run away right now , he thought ' who cares about any treasure if one was dead' , levin wanted to run away but the gigantic monster stood there , it didn't move and only one of them with a single punch almost killed me and there are 3 of them , there's no way I will be coming out alive from this fight .
Levin would have instantly ran away from the door he came but that door was closed instantly as soon as Levin stepped inside which means he had to find another way and I don't think I will be able to defeat any of them even if I use all of my spells and deplete my soul power that will be the worst scenario.
Levin dissolve into shadows and now was hiding in the shadow of one of the pillar that was in the hall , levin tried to think of something but nothing was coming to his mind .
The gigantic monster was puzzled to see that his opponent vanishes right on front of him, it tried to find moving from one place to another .
Levin tried to calm his mind but the pain was too much for him but then he remembered his wounds can heal by itself so while hiding in the shadows he tried to focus on his 3 broken ribs and he was right that his ribs were being healed slowly so levin just waited.
While Levin was hiding he tried to focus on his wind element he wanted to create a spell which would give him an upper hand in the battle.
Levin was forming many acenarios in his mind related to his spell but none of the spells were any effective he then dropped the approach of creating offensive wind spells he wanted to create a defensive spell.
Levin's eyes were closed sweat rolling down his face he was trying to create a perfect defensive wind spell for himself in his mind he was creating and destroying spells again and again until he was satisfied with the spell which will become a form of good defense but in the meantime his broken ribs were almost healed.
While Levin was lost in creating a spell the atmosphere in the hall shifted the massive hall shuddered the gigantic monster who was still trying to find Levin stopped and turned back , something from the ground was coming out ,Levin also felt the subtle change in the hall so he came out from the shadows still hiding behind the pillar to see what was going on and then he saw it that something came out of the ground it wasn't a monster but an altar came out and the three gigantic monsters were now standing around it.
Levin was puzzled by the sudden change of events and then he saw it 'A sword' was embedded inside that altar.
Levin eyes were shinning because of what he was seeing , his mind was racing with one word 'a treasure','a treasure' .
Levin wanted to go and quickly claim that sword his property but he had to wait because now the 3 of them were standing guard it would be impossible to sneak over there he had to make some sort of distraction. Levin was sure that , the sword is his only way out of this damned place , because there is no way a an altar would show up out of nowhere for no reason .
Levin dissolve in the shadows again but this time he was moving from one pillar to the other in the form of shadow levin was being careful not to make any mistake but when he reached near the pillar which was near the altar one of the gigatic monster glances towars his direction.
Levin was flinched and couldn't understand whta just happend 'Did that giant glanced toward me while I'm just a shadow , it clearly glanced at me telling that he knows I'm here'.
Levin was cursing inwardly his plan to sneak and take the sword was gone , he knew that if he wants to take it he had to face them head on but facing them head on was suicide, but levin had no other way .
Levin stepped out from the shadows and was standing in front of them although the distance between him and his opponent was nearly 70 meters .
Levin again formed an odachi and then he charged forward the three of them didn't move and when the distance between them was only 30 meters he said "Ignis hurricane , Hellfire,Gale cutting barrage " and then he said 3 times "Pyroblast"it was a simple fireball but the size was big and it causes high damage , levin launched 3 of them which would be destructive upon impact .
The atmosphere shifted completely the intensity of the heat was so great that the surroundings were melting instantly , Levin charged through it , Levin was sure that he had distracted them for a while because he used his best and strongest spells but to his surprise they didn't even flinch and in the next moment he saw one of the monster had slashed his sword toward him and then
Booom!
Levin was again crushed in the wall but this time the impact was greater ,Levin threw a mouth full of blood and was coughing violently his left hand was broken and this time 8 ribs were broken he wanted to stand but he didn't had any power left inside of him his consciousness was fading he wanted to do something to save his life , blood was rolling down from his face levin was thinking how to get out of this situation.
The 3 of them were closing in on him , seeing them Levin knew they were going to kill him , this was exactly what Levin wanted he wanted them to come as close as they can so that they were away from the altar , when the 3 of them raised their swords for the kill at that time Levin used 2 spells"Flame lash and Blinding flash" a whip made of fire was formed in Levin's hand and a bright burst of fire swallowed them and with a light push of wind on his feet he moved so fast that , the gugantic monsters couldn't react , when they turned it was too late , levin was already at the altar.
Levin gripped the sword handle and tried to pull it out but to his surprise the sword didn't even budge , Levin even used his left hand which was broken but it didn't flinch.
Levin was completely terrified as he looked up he saw the 3 gigantic monsters coming his way , Levin said inwardly ' I'm fucked'.
At that time a drop of blood dropped on the sword from levin face on the sword and the sword started shinning brightly , Levin was completely confused of what was happening , levin was cursing saying ' it's one thing after another now '.
After a while the light faded and then Levin saw all 3 gigantic monsters were on their knees in front of the altar , Levin couldn't understand what was going on .
Levin was still holding the sword but this time when he tries , it came out the sword looked ordinary at first glance, as the sword came out the altar was starting to change.
