The cities were beaming with life the markets were renovated, the security was strictly cautious after the incident that someone might try to kill another child from the 10 families and after listening of the arrival of the children from the other kingdoms they all had to be more carefull of their well being not to anger them in any way it was an opportunity for Eldoria kingdom .
Far away on the Dark continent , inside the cave located deep inside the forest Levin was training inside for the past 2 days he completely focused on the wind magic to make himself a defensive spell but after countless tries and failing again and again , levin finally created a defensive spell for himself , although he would have to buy an armour later but the most important thing he was working on was complete.
Levin was very satisfied after creating the spell , what levin created was an "Air barrier" it forms dense wall of air to block and deflect attacks, during the process of creating a defensive spell levin created two more spell's "Gust and flight" , ' Gust ' this spell create powerful gusts to inflict blunt damages and can send his opponent flying away and as for ' flight ' it's a spell that can leviate and fly over short to medium distances but with increase in soul power and mastery of this spell it can help it's user to fly for a long time , that is if anyone else can fly.
It was time to leave this place and start his new journey , honestly levin didn't want to leave this place this place can offer him almost every thing to become strong but he didn't want to get stuck in one place as it was a very bad memory , but this didn't mean Levin wanted to leave in a hurry he started walking toward the entrance of the cave before reaching it he stopped , Levin used his shadow sense to confirm that there was no one nearby .
Levin can't leave this place open to any one if someone saw this cave from the outside they will definitely enter to check what's inside and Levin can't tolerate that it was Levin's personal treasure trove and he had no intention of sharing it with anyone so he wanted to hide it from the world , when Levin confirmed that there was no one he stepped outside and observed the outer structure of the cave , it was wide open but the upper part was flat , Levin observed it quietly and finally moved he summoned the 'flame blade' and used a wind spell 'Gale cutting' saying that the giant rock fell down.
It was stationed exactly at the front of the cave covering every part of the cave but still Levin wasn't satisfied he cut of the pointy parrs of the rocks with the sword to shape it like it was natural , levin still wasn't satisfied so he cut of the trees around him and then separated all the leaves from the branches and then with slight use of fire he covered all the areas with leaves and now every part of the cave from the outside looks like a complete stone mountain .
Levin knew he would have to come back someday to enter the next door of temple but for that he had to become strong , the sword Levin got from the altar it was hanging around his waist because to everyone else it looks a normal sword , there was no point of keeping it in the storage ring.
Levin braced himself and came out of the forest and went straight to his house to see if he left something in there, when Levin came out he was feeling that he forgot something and then remembered ' Where the hell did the bodies go '.
Levin completely forgot about this matter that he had killed the children of the King , he was sure that there was no witness left but he still had to be cautious now , the bodies aren't here which means while I was in the temple fighting someone from the kingdom came here, it's great that I wasn't present or else who knows what else would have happened .
Still i must be careful ,well first things first I need a new pair of clothes , his clothes were all ragged . Levin went straight to the village , it was the same, people were in line to enter the village upon his turn he showed his I'D and then went inside , the moment he entered he sensed something was wrong , he could see that people were doing their work like they usually do but their faces were telling another story , levin quickly approached the nearest stall and asked " What's going on why is everyone in the village so scared " at which the stall kepper blinked twice and said ' You really don't know what's happening " at which Levin said ' I only entered the village now after a long journey so tell me ".
At first the stall kepper looked left and right several times , then leaned forward and said " Do you know that 3 children of King Adwerd died near the forest and right now the whole Eldoria kingdom is in chaos trying to find who did it , so the people of the holy sanctuary and the order are stationed in every village and town to find any suspicious people that is why everone is afraid not to anger them after all there are over 50 of them in this place ".
Levin was now sitting in the inn waiting for his food to arrive as he was prying and listening to the conversation of the people , one of them said you know " There are only 12 days until the opening of Royal academy, and you know what I've spied one of the awakened of the of the order and heard that the children from the other kingdoms are coming" at which the other asked " you mean from elven, dwarven and cultivators , their kingdom" at which the first one said " yes , the 10 families are throwing a banquet at their arrival after all in 8 years it's their first time to fully interact with our kingdom , their main reason for coming is to enroll their children to the academy ".
Levin was closely listening to their conversation , levin knew that the people of other races will come but what shocked Levin was only 12 days remain until he reached , from what levin could remember he spend 5 days in the cave and mostly 2 days insise the temple buy out here 33 days have passed , Levin couldn't believe what he heard which means he had to hurry if he wants to reach the academy , he would think about the timeskip later.
Levin quickly stood up paid for the food and left the inn firstly he needed some clothes so he came to the shop of that old man from which levin bought a little while ago , Levin asked the old man ' Do you have new clothes like the one I'm wearing , at which the old man said ' I have ', he shows Levin the 2 pair of clothes , the both pair of clothes were same so Levin changed quickly and asked Do you have a bag I need to take this pair with me , the old man gave him the bad , levin store the clothes inside , paid him 3 gold coins and quickly left the shop .
When Levin came out he saw a group of awakeneds gathered at the entrance of village he didn't know whether they were from the order or holy sanctuary , what Levin knew was he had to somehow slip through without anyone noticing him.
Levin was completely calm when he approached the entrance suddenly he was stopped by an awakened , he asked who are you and where are you going?
Levin showed him his I'D card and said I will be traveling towards the ' Oakhaven' , the awakened observed Levin and said ' why do you wanna go there ' , levin was cursing inwardly ' why does it have to be now , fuck you saw my card now let me go ' , levin calmed his mind and said ' It's my first time going there it's a big town so I wanna earn some money ' , the answer levin gave satisfied the awakener and he returned the card to levin and said ' off you go then'.
Levin took the card but he didn't rushed because if he did he would brought suspicion toward him , levin walked calmly with the map in his hand and when he was out of sight he sighed with relief and then levin rushed forward with a slight use of wind on his feet he was very fast , from what Levin learned there was only 12 days left and it takes almost 15 days to reach so Levin didn't had any time to waste if he wants to reach academy.
Levin learned that for the past couple of years there's a 'Magic department' that studies the parts of monsters body and then what they find useful they kept well Levin wasn't really interested in this thing so what he know was that there is some sort of teleportation gate in the ' oakhaven ' that links directly to Eldoria kingdom where the academy is located .
Levin was smoothly moving when he saw a caravan was surrounded by a group of people with weapons at first Levin was going to left them on their own but he stopped and decided to help them.
The bandits were holding a child and were demanding the payment from the person inside the carriage , Levin was completely mad when he saw the child can't fight back , it reminded levin of when his family died in front of him and he couldn't do , the rage took over Levin and he unsheathed his sword and killed all of them , they didn't know what happened or what hit them , the child fell down and the person inside of the carriage came out it was a beautiful woman who was in her late 20s she bowed and said " My name is Selena , I'm an alchemist and I'm very thankful to you for saving us , may I know your name ".
Levin was completely lost in his own thoughts but the voice of the woman snapped him out , levin turned back and said ' what' , at which the woman was surprised she asked again ' May I know your name sir and I would like to thank you if you have time i would like to properly thank you after arriving at the town " , levin looked at her and said " There's no need for you to go out of your way , simply saying thank you is enough and I was just passing by so be on your journey ", Levin was trying to leave when the woman said " But still i would like to ___ at which Levin stopped her with a signal of his hand and said " I'm in a hurry to reach somewhere so I appreciate if you don't waste any more of time but if you still like to thank me then My name is Levin just remember this if in the future we meet again and I ask for something then You can help me in return until then " saying this Levin vanished from there and now was a on his way to the town , back there the woman named Selena was still standing staring in the direction where levin went ' I can't believe someone helped me and didn't ask for anything in return , she was amazed by Levin's strength and his ability seems to be wind but I haven't seen someone with wind element like this who can instantly appears and went on their way it's like he vanished , intriguing well I'll find out eventually".
Levin was rushing but he was thinking of what he did and why he helped those two , when Levin saw the child completely helpless he couldn't control himself it's like his body moved on his own , Levin just didn't wanted someone else to go through the pain he went.
Levin quickly regained his focus and thought there is no need to dwell in past , I should focus on the present and ready myself for what might comes next .
