As the beam from the flashlight swept to the other side again, a pair of large hands suddenly reached out behind Little Brian.
...
One hand covered Little Brian's mouth, the other gripped the hand he was holding the gun with, brutally snapping his wrist. The gun was wrenched away and thrown aside, as Chen Zhou forced Little Brian toward the long table.
"Mrs. Brian, I believe you're a strong woman.
But whether your son is as strong as you—that seems like an interesting question. Let's test it. Who has more endurance: you, or your son?"
As he spoke, Chen Zhou released his hand covering Little Brian's mouth.
Instantly, in the pitch-black darkness, came a blood-curdling scream. If he weren't restrained by Chen Zhou, Little Brian would have collapsed to the floor from the agony.
The screams of her son shattered Mrs. Brian's last psychological defenses.
