Accompanied by two crisp sounds of bones breaking, there were now two more corpses in the dim basement.
After placing Little Brian beside his parents, Chen Zhou pried open a barrel of chemical dye and poured it over the basement.
The vivid dye exuded a strong, pungent odor, erasing all traces of violent struggle from the room. In this era where DNA technology was underdeveloped, it would be almost impossible for anyone to find clues about Chen Zhou here.
He left the basement, locked the door, and, carrying the revolver taken from Little Brian, searched the entire house.
During the search, he carefully donned gloves stained with chemical dye to avoid leaving fingerprints.
Just as Mrs. Brian had said, this marginal little family of Ambrose's had not kept any clues about that place.
When they finished hunting for victims and making wax statues, they lived like an ordinary family, staying home quietly and leading a normal life.
