Thea Shaw stood by the side, smiling faintly without saying a word.
Chloe Shaw frowned with a hint of urgency, "Isn't transferring here just fooling around? There's only one branch here, not many people, and nothing much for entertainment around. Why are you coming along? Did they really agree to this?"
She transferred here because of a higher position and some prospects, but Felix Finch just got promoted from an intern. Transferring here would block his career path.
"They've already agreed."
Felix looked particularly aggrieved, "I've said it, how could one ask the leader to revoke the decision?"
Chloe was instantly choked silent.
With a company like this, once an application like Felix's is approved, there's no turning back if he regrets it.
Big companies aren't that casual.
Chloe sighed, "Aren't you joking about your future like this?"
Felix replied, "It's fine, don't worry, Chloe."
Chloe, in exasperation, said, "Stop calling me Chloe like that, call me sister."
