Thea Shaw sensitively picked up on some unusual little details.
She leaned in and vaguely heard a young male voice.
Seeing this, Chloe Shaw avoided Thea, and after hanging up the phone, her expression was a little strangely tense: "What are you doing, eavesdropping while I make a call?"
"How's that eavesdropping? I'm just listening out in the open here," Thea clicked her tongue, "A guy, huh?"
Chloe's face showed a peculiar awkwardness: "Yes, he said he's not too comfortable with me driving his car tonight, so he's coming to pick us up."
Thea: "Wow, who is he? Didn't you tell me before that there was someone you had mutual feelings with?"
Chloe, unusually, seemed a bit embarrassed: "Well… just an intern at our company, came over a few months ago. Mainly, I feel he's too young."
He graduated from abroad and was just placed in their company, several years younger than Chloe.
To others, he still seems like a fresh-faced kid.
