"Right back at you." Maeve Lane looked down at her, her gaze even more arrogant than Kylie's.
"Let me be blunt, when we divvy up the tasks later, you pick preparing ingredients, I'll pick assisting Lucy. Got it?" Kylie ordered imperiously, "Don't think getting lucky acting with Fairchild will change anything. Some people are just not destined for fame. If you don't do as I say, get ready for my fans to roast you after this show ends."
She spoke rapidly, then left without looking back, as if she couldn't even bother to spare Maeve a glance.

Soon, Lucy Sterling's voice came from outside, "Maeve, Kylie, where are you? We can start dividing tasks now."
