Lucy Sterling turned her head, speaking warmly to Maeve Lane and Kylie Kendrick, "We have to take care of the chickens, ducks, and geese ourselves, and manage the house chores too. You're aware of that, right?"
"Yes."
"Mm-hmm."
"Alright, then you two can start with the cleaning, I'll go feed the chickens, ducks, and rabbits. Let's meet in the kitchen later and divide up the tasks." Lucy clapped her hands together, her smile bright.
"Okay."
"Mm-hmm."
Lucy also walked away.
Earlier, Maeve Lane and Kylie Kendrick hadn't exchanged a word, not even a greeting.
If they continued ignoring each other, it would be obvious to the viewers once the episode aired that the two of them didn't get along.
Maeve wasn't much affected by it.
She had no rivals at the moment, but Kylie had several ambitious teammates who could drown her with their criticism.
Causing some diva-like drama wouldn't be worth it.
