Chapter 68 - Chapter 68: Trying save Universe 2

The impact tore through the Titan's armor, but he only roared in defiance. His healing factor, warped by the virus, began stitching the wound shut as he lunged toward Thor.

Rocket fired his blasters with a snarl. "I told you we should've nuked this place from orbit!"

Groot extended his branches, wrapping around Thanos' arm, trying to pull the Gauntlet away. "I am Groot!"

Thanos responded by crushing the branches with a burst of the Power Stone's purple light. Groot screamed as his wooden body disintegrated, leaving nothing but ash. Rocket's panicked cry was cut short as Thanos seized him midair and slammed him into the ground, breaking him instantly.

"Rocket! Groot!" Thor bellowed, his voice a mix of fury and anguish.

He swung Stormbreaker with all his might, channeling lightning through the weapon. The bolt struck Thanos squarely, but the Titan retaliated, his fist glowing with the combined might of the Stones. A flash of raw, cosmic energy erupted, hurling Thor across the battlefield and sending him crashing into the remains of the vibranium barrier.

Peter's eyes widened behind his mask. "Oh no—Thor!"

T'Challa turned to Peter and Scott. "We must keep him from the Stone!"

But Thanos had already turned his gaze toward them. The hunger in his eyes was beyond anything human. As he raised his hand, the air shimmered—reality itself bending from the combined force of the Stones.

Desperation drove T'Challa forward. The Black Panther dashed through the chaos, using every ounce of his agility to reach Thanos. He tackled the Titan near the base of Wakanda's energy reactor, the two of them tumbling into a broken platform surrounded by pulsing light.

"Spider-Man, now!" T'Challa shouted.

Peter swung in, firing webs around Thanos' hand, trying to pry the Gauntlet loose. "Scott, a little help would be great right now!"

Scott enlarged himself to giant size, grabbing Thanos by the leg, but even that wasn't enough. The Titan's roar shattered the air. He ripped through the webs and sent a surge of Power Stone energy that tore half of Scott's enlarged arm away.

Then, in one terrible instant, Thanos wrenched the Mind Stone from Peter's grasp.

The Gauntlet blazed with full, infinite brilliance—all six Stones now aligned.

The sky darkened.

Peter felt the hair on his arms rise as the Infinity Gauntlet's glow consumed the battlefield. The stones' energies began to overload, the casings around them cracking under the strain. Reality itself screamed as Thanos lifted his hand.

And then—

T'Challa struck.

With a final cry, he rammed his claws into Thanos' chest and pushed him backward—both of them tumbling into the heart of the Wakandan energy reactor.

There was a blinding flash.

The explosion that followed wasn't fire—it was color, light, and destruction woven together. Every molecule of the reactor ignited with Infinity Energy. The shockwave swept across the plains, consuming everything in its path. The force tore the Gauntlet apart, shattering the Stones and scattering fragments of their essence across the world.

When the light faded, Wakanda was gone.

Far above the wreckage, Spider-Man and Scott Lang floated in the Quinjet, both shaken and hollow. Below them, a storm of energy still swirled where the city once stood.

Scott was the first to speak, voice trembling inside his helmet. "He… he really did it. T'Challa stopped him."

Peter's voice cracked. "Yeah. But at what cost? That Infinty energy is going to destroy all of this in a month or two."

Before they could react, a golden ring of sparks appeared beside their jet—the familiar mark of the Masters of the Mystic Arts.

Members of Mystic Art, Sara, Rintrah, and London Master, appeared first, guiding the damaged Quinjet through the portal. Inside the glowing circle, the serene silhouette of London Master stood waiting.

"Come," Sara said gravely. "You are not safe here. The Infinity Energy has torn a rift in the balance. You must rest—and prepare."

As they crossed the threshold into Kamar-Taj, the world they left behind vanished in blinding light. The undead roamed freely now, their hunger growing stronger with the pulse of cosmic power still lingering in the atmosphere.

The Quantum Virus had claimed heroes, gods, and monsters alike.

And though Thanos was gone, his final act had sown something far worse—a universe on the brink of collapse, where death itself refused to rest.
