The deluge barrelled toward him with unrelenting speed.
Standing with his head bowed, he held the necklace tightly in his palm.
He inhaled…
The air flowed between his teeth, through his mouth, into his windpipe.
In the veins of his lungs, blood cells flowed to the heart.
His heart beat faster and faster.
Impulses within the nerves reached his eyes.
His pupils shrank.
Black scribbles writhed chaotically within his irises.
A dim blue light emerged from the nose caverns. It faintly brightened the surroundings.
The mucus deluge slowed to a near standstill.
Tucking the necklace beneath his shirt, he held his hands beside his pockets. The blue hairs on his hands rose with goosebumps.
Planting his left foot forward, he leaned his body low.
He closed his eyes…
And began to exhale slowly…
In the darkness, the outlines of everything appeared blue.
Pushing power into his right leg, he launched himself forward…
The ground trembled.
With lightning speed, he sprinted through the caverns branching like roots inside the nose. As he leaped to evade the massive nose hairs blocking his path, his speed never faltered.
He passed through countless massive caverns branching out.
The caverns led to a gigantic nostril.
Limbs of corpses emerged from mucus puddles scattered around.
Inside, a huge forest of hairs covered 360 degrees.
Inezeya ran along the entire circumference of the nostril. Flashing like lightning, he passed through the complex hairs blocking his path from above, right, left, and below. Since flips would slow him down, he leaped in zigzags.
Smoke from his exhaled breath drifted slowly from his mouth. His eyes were closed…
He approached the nostril's exit.
His exhaled breath ran out…
No outline remained in his closed sight.
Opening his eyes…
He had already exited the nose, moving away.
Deluges of mucus flowed from the nostrils behind him.
Gliding through the air, he floated. His light blue hair and white furry scarf waved in every direction. Brows raised. Clear eyes scanned the view. An innocent expression covered his face.
Flipping through the air, he fell onto a sandy hill. Rolling sideways, he lay on his back to rest briefly. Standing up, he brushed off the sand and observed the surroundings.
The sky was filled with cylindrical sandy structures. All orbited each other. As for the ground, it consisted of sandy hills flowing slowly inward.
Air erupted from the lower parts of the hills and structures, blasting the sand violently…
Sand rained down, flowing inward rapidly.
All the sand receded…
The structures in the sky and on earth…
All were colossal heads biting each other's necks.
Through the biting of necks, enormous paths took shape. Blood on them had dried. Teeth were sunk deep. Each face, hair, and beard was distinct. Long hair and beards floated in the air. All eyes were closed.
Inezeya watched the view. His hands rested in his joggers' pockets.
The heads were alive. Heavy breaths cycled through their noses.
An eye opened from beneath him. Its iris was orange. The pupil was shaped like an arrow pointing northeast.
The head beneath him suddenly released the neck it was biting. Inezeya leaped onto the bitten neck. Falling downward, the releasing head collided with another…
Every eye opened, fixing on Inezeya.
A faint smile touched his lips. Extending his hand forward, he opened it.
"Good morning yall!"
Their brows furrowed. Exhaling heavily, thick currents of air burst from their noses.
Inezeya felt slightly embarrassed. A drop of sweat rolled down his forehead. Scratching the back of his head with his hand...
"Sorry for waking you."
He turned forward again.
"I'm just passing by."
Laughing, he waved his hand in farewell.
"You can continue to sleep."
The head he walked calmly upon released the throat it was biting.
Gliding down with the head, hands in pockets, he calmly leaped to the throat ahead.
"Tch…"
Approaching the massive eye, he planted his left foot forward, leaning his upper body low. Pointing to his own eyes with his right index and middle fingers, he stared into the massive eye with furrowed brows and a serious gaze.
"Look in my eyes."
His hand returned to his pocket.
Scribbles in his irises moved chaotically.
"If you start being annoying…"
Shadows covered his face and body. His irises shone.
"You won't leave me any other choice."
Water pooled in their eyelids. Tears overflowed.
The angle of the heads guided the flow of gravity. On the upright ones, tears trickled down cheeks like little rivers. On those lying sideways, they overflowed from the nose to the other eye. On those hanging upside down, they seeped from the forehead into hair strands.
Small waterfalls rained down from the heads.
Sighing, Inezeya watched the scene. Smoke drifted from his mouth.
The head beneath him let go. As he leapt to the next one, it also released and dropped. Hands in pockets, he ran forward. From head to head he sprinted. Every head he landed on stopped biting and fell.
Seeing the guiding eyes, he followed them. Using the breath exhaled by a massive nose, he launched himself toward another chain. Upside down, he ran beneath his right side.
Grabbing long strands of hair, he swung himself to the right.
Entering through the mouth of a falling head, he shot out through the esophagus.
Landing on the chain on his right, he ran rapidly along its flank. As they fell one by one, he leaped away to the left and glided between the heads.
All their eyes turned red from crying. Blood mixed with the tears. Blood flowed in small waterfalls.
Extending his right leg, he landed on a cheek. Powering his leg, Inezeya sprinted with a leap. The path, formed of heads biting the fronts of each other's necks, twisted and rotated around itself.
Massive heads with open mouths occupied the gaps. Blood flowed from their reddened eyes into their mouths, then dripped downward. Some were upside down. With mouths forced open by two hands, bloody saliva dripped between their teeth. Arrows in their irises turned slowly like clockwork.
Inezeya's run adapted to the twisting. As the heads released, it created illusions of falling sideways when horizontal and falling upward when upside down. He advanced further and further…
Suddenly, all heads stopped biting and let themselves drop.
Inezeya sat calmly atop one of the gliding heads. His white furry scarf fluttered in all directions.
While airborne, they turned their faces toward him. Glaring in anger, smoke drifted up from their mouths and noses.
The ground slowly became visible…
It was a massive pile of heads.
The head Inezeya was sitting on crashed to the ground. Looking up at the sky...
Countless massive heads were raining down.
Those near him had their mouths open, waiting to chew.
Inezeya exhaled. The smoke from his mouth mixed slowly with the air.
Calmly, he stood up.
"Y'all's decision…"
The scribbles in his eyes moved violently. Tilting his head up, a dim light from the sky illuminated his face.
Raising his right hand to the light...
"...shall be granted."
…and he closed his palm…
Massive hands formed of pressure grabbed the mouths of the open ones. Pulling from top and bottom, they tore jaws apart, splitting the heads in two. Their tongues dangled while floating in the air.
Some hands grabbed the backs of heads. With a massive pressure axe, they smashed them in the center like cracking an egg. Brain convolutions splattered outward.
Others grabbed jaws while another hand plunged into the root of the neck. Grasping the spinal cord, it ripped it out with a violent pull. The attached brain stem and gray folds were torn from the neck. Stretched nerves snapped. Eyes detached from the brain and fell from their sockets.
While hands held the nose and head, fingers inside the nostrils pulled violently outward. The skin of the nose and upper face, then the bones, were torn away.
Within seconds, all heads were shattered. Blood flowed.
At the far side of the pile, on the wall of the massive cavern, was a gigantic dead head with an open mouth. A cross was carved with two intersecting cut marks on each eyelid. Its face was full of scars. Its hair and beard were black. The messy hair was long and tied back.
Inezeya walked calmly over the piles. Clambering over the remains, he entered the massive mouth. Its teeth were rotten. Before proceeding, he turned sideways and looked back.
Turning forward, he advanced slowly, swaying slightly. Hands in pockets. Chaos filled his irises.
The shattered heads were gathered by pressure and compressed tightly. Violent pressure was applied from within…
The outward pressure overflowed…
A massive explosion occurred.
Blood rained down in a torrent.
As if nothing had happened, he kept his slow pace without looking back. Raising his right hand slightly, he waved goodbye.
"Rest in peace."
