Eva's eyes flashed with shock and desperation as she held the gun to Mira's head. Leo's words had struck a chord, and for a moment, it seemed like Eva's composure was about to break.
"You're trying to get inside my head, Leo," Eva spat, her voice venomous. "But it won't work."
Leo's expression remained calm and collected. "I'm not trying to get inside your head, Eva," he said. "I'm just stating the truth. You're running out of options, and you're desperate."
Eva's eyes narrowed, and she pressed the gun harder against Mira's temple. Mira's eyes were wide with fear, but she didn't make a sound.
Suddenly, Eva's expression changed, and she seemed to relax. "You know what?" she said, a sly smile spreading across her face. "I think I'll take your advice I also need answers, Leo."
And with that, Eva's finger loosens on the trigger.....
