"I see you are back on again. Let's see who gets the last laugh" The call disconnected immediately the person was done talking and Mira tossed the phone with shaky hands.
Elisa was still unconscious and the number saved as 'Monster' called. Knowing Elisa would have wanted to pick if she was awake, Mira had picked the call.
She was shaken by the call. Her breath was ragged as she tried to grasp what that person meant.
Last laugh? Enemies? Rivals? What? She looked at Ashley's face and wondered how such a person became so two-faced that even the people around her don't seem to know what's going on..
A knock on the door erupted her thoughts. "Miss, are you okay? We heard you scream minutes ago"
Mira took a deep breath and got up to answer the door.. She opened the door slightly and put her head to be visible to them while she hid her body and shaky hands behind the door.
In a whisper, she replied "She was watching a horror movie. She is asleep now"
