Elisa blinked rapidly as soon as the words rolled out of Mira's mouth .
"What?" She scoffed in disbelief..
Mira sighed, knowing this would be a pretty difficult conversation for her to have. She tried to help Elisa to the bed, but she lifted her hands, signalling her to stop..
"I do NOT like him" she said firmly.
"Are you trying to convince yourself that too?" Mira asked softly..
"Is it because of my actions. I am just…messing with him?"
"Why?" Mira asked. "you may not know it, but these days you have been smiling sheepishly, and wanting his attention. And….if I am not mistaken, I think he likes you too," Mira stared straight in Elisa's eyes.
"Mira," Elisa choked out her name. For some reason, her eyes became watery.
"My goal is to find out what happened to Ashley, and to avenge my death. I don't have room…for romance. Besides, " a tear dropped. "He is not my husband. I can't fall for him"
