A short distance away from the Capital, Ethan and the others arrived at the place where the reinforcements sent by the Emperors had already gathered. Several groups of warriors stood across the open ground, each group carrying the insignia of a different Empire. Their armor was clean, their weapons were prepared and their expressions were serious as they waited for their orders.
The moment Ethan arrived, the warriors turned their attention toward him. Some of them had already heard about his strength, while others had only heard rumors about the battle. A few Transcendent Knights stood at the front of the group, clearly acting as the leaders of the forces.
Among them stood Sir Garran Valcrest, a Transcendent Knight from the Empire forces. He was a veteran warrior who had fought in countless battles and was currently responsible for leading part of the reinforcements.
Ethan walked toward them without any arrogance. He gave a warm smile and nodded respectfully.
