'That you're shorter than me.' That was what Amon wanted to say to Professor Aria, the very same woman who had laughed at him during their first class last year.
Currently, the class was in full swing. Aria, a woman who excelled in magic, was teaching them how to represent and manipulate magic through mathematical equations.
For heaven's sake, Amon didn't understand a single damn thing. And now, this woman wanted him to solve one of the equations.
He stared at the blackboard again, and he was completely baffled.
He couldn't understand why they needed to learn magic through mathematics in the first place. He already knew several spells, and none of them had required him to sit down and solve complicated equations.
Still, after looking at the equations for a while, even Amon could understand that this knowledge was probably important for things like magical architecture and artifact creation.
