"But it's still weird. I can't believe she actually accepted it," Adelia said while taking a sip of her coffee.
"Yeah, I was surprised too. I was expecting her to say no, but somehow, she accepted." Amon said while taking sip of his own coffee, the aroma filled his nostrils while the warm stream touched against his skin.
"Well, this means she loves you so much that she's willing to share you with someone else. So I hope you won't hurt her." Adelia continued, her expression became strict, taking on the serious look of a teacher lecturing her student.
Amon simply smirked. "Of course I would never. Have I ever hurt you, Professor Adelia?"
Adelia stared at him for a moment. She thought about it before slowly shaking her head.
"No. You have never. Not till now."
"Exactly. Because you're one of the most important people to me." He said it with a serious expression, making sure there wasn't even the slightest hint in his tone that could make her think he wasn't being sincere.
