"Let's see if sending another 'Boss' will finally push them to their limits,"
said an unknown voice from a dimension completely separate from that of the protagonists.
The sun was beginning to set. Birds sang softly, yet an uneasy tension hung over the lakes. Suddenly, a strange melody echoed through the air, forcing the birds into silence. Slowly, a crocodile emerged from one of the lakes—but it was different. Its eyes glowed red without pupils, and its claws were enormous and razor-sharp. Behind it followed several identical crocodiles, each wielding greenish swords.
This was Boss 16: MegaFlash.
He scanned the area and, using X-ray vision, located his target—Kiro. Dropping to his knees, he closed his eyes. With a single jump, he reached the clouds, then propelled himself backward, reaching a speed of 500 kilometers. He crashed down onto the roof of a house, smashing straight through it. As he landed, he analyzed his surroundings, then punched through a wall and slowly approached the protagonist's home.
Inside, Kiro was eating with his family when a sudden sense of danger washed over him.
"I'll go out. Leave now—quickly,"
he said firmly as he stood up.
His parents and sister looked confused, but they remembered something Kiro had said long ago:
"I was in Italy, fighting enemies who call themselves bosses."
If that was true, then this was serious. Without hesitation, they began packing their things.
Outside, Kiro stepped through the door, his expression cold and focused, staring at the enemy emerging from a shattered wall.
"Well, well… so you're Kiro, huh?"
MegaFlash sneered.
"Don't worry. After I kill you, I'll kill your family too. Let's see if you're even close to my level, kid."
In an instant, he appeared in front of Kiro and threw a punch at his face. Kiro barely managed to block it with his arms, but the impact sent him flying backward, crashing through his own house.
MegaFlash brought his hands together and formed a massive energy attack, launching it straight at Kiro. The force drove him deep into the ground. As the attack continued pushing him downward, tearing at his body, Kiro clenched his teeth—and smiled. A powerful gust of air pushed the attack back slightly, but it wasn't enough.
Kiro's sister saw a blue beam streak across the yard. She couldn't help but look—and that was her mistake.
Without stopping the attack, MegaFlash approached her and placed a hand on her head.
"Hello, little one. Want to join your brother?"
he said with a twisted smile.
"Don't worry… you'll be with him in heaven."
He grabbed her waist. She froze in terror.
At that moment, Kiro sensed movement above him. Someone touching someone else.
His mind darkened—filled with fury and disgust.
"You bastard… DON'T TOUCH MY SIIISTEEER!!"
Kiro roared.
A small explosion of fire burst from the hole, pushing the attack back. MegaFlash looked surprised—but then he leaned closer and ran his tongue across the girl's ear.
That was enough.
Kiro exploded out of the ground. With a single stomp, he reached MegaFlash. His face was shrouded in black shadow—only glowing white eyes visible. He grabbed the Boss by the neck, slammed his face into the ground, and began running at full speed, grinding his head against the streets.
The ground shattered in a 3x3 area as Kiro dragged MegaFlash across the city. Flames ignited beneath their path. Kiro lifted the Boss's head and smashed it into twenty buildings in mere seconds. He picked up a shard of glass and stabbed it into MegaFlash's eye. The Boss screamed, trying to push him away—but Kiro dodged and grabbed his face again.
He slammed MegaFlash's head into the ground nonstop at 1,000 kilometers per second. Then, with a powerful leap, he plunged through the earth, smashing the Boss through everything beneath the surface. They passed near the Earth's core—close enough to feel its immense heat—before bursting out on another continent.
MegaFlash's face was completely destroyed… yet it began regenerating.
"You really think your damn regeneration will save you after what you tried to do to my sister?"
Kiro snarled.
"You're nothing but trash."
Small flames ignited around his feet as he attacked again, drilling MegaFlash through the planet over and over. His speed rose—1,500… 2,000… 4,000… until it peaked at 12,000 kilometers per second. Red lightning could be seen from space as Kiro's aura tore through the Earth's crust repeatedly.
MegaFlash's cells struggled desperately to survive. His crocodile subordinates rushed to help. Exhaustion finally began to catch up to Kiro. Gathering his remaining strength, he hurled the burned body of Boss 16 into Italy, smashing it into a wall.
MegaFlash was barely recognizable—his body charred, his face gone, reduced to a single living cell.
The crocodiles arrived, guided by a signal from that last surviving cell. While Kiro struggled to breathe, they retrieved the body and began an ancient ritual. The sky darkened. Rain fell.
With every drop, MegaFlash's regeneration returned.
His body grew larger, stronger, more monstrous. Two meters tall. Massive claws. Bright crimson eyes. Twenty fangs. A platinum crocodile tail.
With a roar, he awakened.
He raised both hands, unleashing energy blasts without hesitation. One obliterated an entire city. Another tore through buildings before exploding in the sky, swelling the clouds. Lightning crashed down as a storm formed.
Kiro looked up—then reached for his phone. Gone. Vaporized by the heat near the Earth's core.
Footsteps echoed behind him.
Slow. Heavy. Menacing.
He turned.
MegaFlash stood there, reborn.
"This time, you lose,"
the Boss said coldly.
"The rain regenerates me. No matter how hard you hit me, I'll keep healing."
In a single step, he reached Kiro and punched him, knocking the air from his lungs. Another blow followed, then another. Kiro spat blood as water chains seized his arms and yanked them apart.
"AAAAAGH! DAMN YOU!"
Kiro screamed.
He smiled through the pain. A powerful gust of air pushed MegaFlash back—but the Boss slammed him away with his tail.
Kiro crashed into a building. MegaFlash fused two energy spheres—blue and red—forming a small purple core. He launched it. The attack pierced through the floors and detonated directly on Kiro, flooding his body with overwhelming power.
The pain was unbearable. His mind felt shattered. Sirens echoed across Italy as evacuations began.
Inside the ruins, Kiro's heart raced, his breathing heavy.
"Seriously? Is this all you've got now?"
a voice echoed in his mind.
"Prove why you're Kiro Suzuki Ishikawa."
Kiro opened his eyes.
"I won't lose,"
he shouted.
"I won't let you kill anyone—not my family, not my friends!"
Purple energy erupted from his body, piercing the clouds and stopping the rain. The building exploded as Kiro launched forward in a burst of fire. He grabbed MegaFlash's leg, slammed him into the ground, and unleashed one hundred kicks in a single second.
The ground shattered.
The battle escalated—until Sone arrived, then Worh.
Worh stepped forward calmly.
"Leave him to me,"
he said.
"I'll deal with this scum."
What followed was absolute domination.
With consecutive serious punches, Worh shattered MegaFlash's body, tore off his nose, endured a broken leg, and finished the Boss by punching straight through his neck, burning his heart from the inside.
The city fell from the sky.
Silence followed.
One week later, peace returned. Kiro was recovering. Worh rested with bandaged wounds. Sone trained and Sebastián She found out through her cell phone. The Italian government began rebuilding.
For now… the battle was over.
