Chapter 57: [58] Gods And Demons Merge!
"Crack!"
Levi felt several ribs crack from the impact despite his enhanced physique, and blood erupted from his mouth as internal organs were compressed by the pressure wave. His body was thrown backward, tumbling across the stairs uncontrollably before he managed to catch himself.
He forced himself back to his feet despite the screaming pain from his injuries. His Level 8 Regeneration immediately began working to repair the damage, knitting broken bones and healing torn tissue, but the process took time and he couldn't afford to waste a second here.
[Ding! Random multiplier activated: 9,999x!]
[Regeneration attempting breakthrough to Supernatural Grade...]
[Current progress: 67%]
The system notification flashed across his vision, but Levi barely registered it. He was too focused on survival.
At that moment, high above on the staircase, Leina made her move.
Her dark phantom suddenly flickered and vanished, and she reappeared more than a mile away in an instant, standing directly before the highest platform where the Ancient Demon God statue held its treasure.
Her hand reached out to take the treasure but then something happened.
The Ancient Demon God statue, which had stood motionless for countless millennia, suddenly moved. Its eyes, which had been blank stone, ignited with an red light. The Ancient Divine God statue on the opposite side of the highest platform also came to life, its own eyes glowing with brilliant white radiance.
Both massive stone figures rose from their seated positions and floated into the air.
The Demon God, which resembled a massive bull-headed humanoid with six muscular arms, began chanting in a language that predated recorded history. The words resonated with dark power that made the void itself tremble.
"MAH, GEH, JUI, XREES!"
The Divine God, which possessed twelve magnificent wings and features of impossible beauty, began singing an angelic hymn that seemed to be the exact opposite of the Demon God's chant.
"ELAH, SERIN, VORAH, THAEL!"
Light and darkness, divine and demonic, the two opposing forces began to build and harmonize!
Leina sneered at the awakening statues. "Hmph! You're already dead and your souls long dispersed! Do you think mere remnant wills left in stone can contend with a living Astral Lord?"
Without hesitation she blasted her palm forward and and a lance of absolute darkness shot from her hand.
The attack struck the Demon God statue directly in its chest with tremendous force.
"BANG!"
The ancient statue , which had withstood the test of time itself, was actually blasted backward off the platform. It tumbled through the void like a ragdoll, as it fell of the stairs.
The treasure that had been resting in the Demon God's hands floated up into the air and Leina's eyes shone with intense greed as she reached out to claim it.
But just as her fingers were about to close around the treasure, something unexpected occurred. The Ancient Demon God and the Ancient Divine God, suddenly flew towards each other and then the two statues collided and merged together to form a single terrifying entity.
The terrifying entity possessed six arms like the Demon God and twelve wings like the Divine God.
As it floated, it has two heads, one looking demonic with horns and fangs, sneering with a demonic smile in its face.
While the other head was the angelic face angelic with a serene expression.
Instantly, a terrifying aura blasted out from the statue as the aura of a peak Astra Lord realm expanded from its body.
The entity suddenly blurred as it appeared before Leina could even react or attempt to teleport away, one of its six hands shot forward and delivered a devastating palm strike directly to her chest.
The attack hadnt even landed yet and the entire space around the palm cracked like glass!
Without hesitation, it landed with a sound like thunder concentrated into a single point.
"KA-BOOM!"
Leina's eyes widened in shock and pain. She attempted to teleport at the last possible instant, and while she managed to avoid being killed outright, she didn't escape unharmed.
When she reappeared a safe distance away, her dark cloak was torn and tattered, revealing pale skin beneath that was marred by a massive bruise spreading across her torso. She was disheveled, breathing heavily, clearly injured despite her strength!
The entirety suddenly turned its attention to the other intruder, Sub-Dean Scarlet. Both of its heads spoke simultaneously.
"Die..." "DIE!!!"
The entity moved toward Scarlet with its six arms raised to attack.
"Who do you think you are!?"
Sun-dean Scarlett roared as her flames erupted with an intensity that made the sun dim!
Her Eternal Inferno Monarch phantom glowed with even greater intensity as the entire space destroyed as though being fried. The massive flaming figure behind her drew back one burning fist and launched a punch to meet the construct's assault head-on.
"BOOOOOOOOOOM!"
The collision was absolutely catastrophic. Fire and ancient power clashed, and the resulting explosion sent shockwaves radiating outward that dwarfed anything that had come before.
Sub-Dean Scarlet managed to tank the attack through sheer overwhelming power, but even she was blasted backward by the force. Her phantom flickered and dimmed slightly.
Leina, watching this from her safe distance, squinted her eyes. Scarlet was able to take an attack that almost killed her.
Her hand reached into her tattered robes and withdrew a talisman that radiated powerful spatial energy. This
"Alright Scarlet," she called out. "I'm done playing with you. This inheritance ground isn't worth dying over, and that construct is too troublesome to deal with right now. We'll finish our business another day."
She activated the talisman, crushing it between her fingers. The void behind her literally shattered like glass, creating a tear in space that led to somewhere else entirely. Leina stepped backward into that tear without hesitation, and within a single heartbeat, she had vanished completely. The spatial crack sealed itself behind her, leaving no trace of her presence.
The merged entity turned its attention back to the remaining intrude, Sub-Dean Scarlet and began advancing once more.

Chapter 58: [59] The Scarlett Devil
Scarlett frowned and her flaming eye brows furrowed.
If she was to fight seriously with the entity, the entire inheritance would be destroyed and she would likely not gain anything from it.
Her flaming phantom dissolved back into pure energy as it merged into her then she shot away from the highest platform like a meteor in reverse, putting distance between herself and the ancient guardian.
The construct watched her retreat but didn't pursue. Apparently, its purpose was only to protect the supreme treasures, not to hunt down those who fled. After a moment, the merged figure began to separate once more, splitting back into the individual Demon God and Divine God statues.
They floated back to their respective platforms, settling into their original positions as though nothing had happened. The light faded from their eyes, and they returned to being simple stone once more.
Levi, who had been running for his life this entire time, finally reached the entrance gate at the base of the staircase. But the shockwaves from that final exchange between Scarlet and the entity had caught up to him. The wave of force struck him from behind with absolutely crushing power.
He felt every bone in his body fracture simultaneously. His spine cracked in multiple places, his ribs shattered completely, and even his skull developed hairline fractures. His internal organs were pulped by the pressure wave, and blood erupted from every orifice—his mouth, nose, ears, even his eyes.
Levi body collapsed just barely outside the entrance gate.
He couldn't move, couldn't even breathe properly with his crushed lungs. His vision swam with black spots, as his consciousness drifted in out out of himself.
But even in this critical state, his Regeneration skill continued working. It had been pushed beyond its limits repeatedly during this nightmare, forced to heal damage that should have been instantly fatal. And now, under this ultimate pressure, the multiplier actually reached the highest level!
[Ding! Random multiplier activated: 10,000x!]
[Regeneration has broken through to Supernatural Grade!]
[Regeneration (Supernatural) - Level 1]
[New capability unlocked: Enhanced Cellular Reconstruction]
[Recovery speed increased by 500%]
[Can now regenerate from injuries that would permanently cripple normal cultivators]
It was instantaneous!
Levi's shattered bones began merging themselves at a visible rate, the fragments drawing back together and fusing with supernatural speed. His crushed organs rebuilt their structure, tissue regrowing and blood vessels reconnecting. Even his fractured skull healed, the cracks sealing themselves as though they had never existed.
Within thirty seconds, Levi's body had gone from completely shattered to merely severely injured. Within a minute, he was able to breathe normally again. Within two minutes, he could move his limbs without his body in agony.
Levi lay there at the entrance gate, gasping for breath with widened eyes as he felt his body putting itself back together.
He forced himself to sit up slowly, checking his condition. His clothes were completely destroyed, burned away or shredded by the various shockwaves. His new boots had survived thanks to their relic-grade durability, and his saber was still intact, but everything else was gone. The little thief in the sling against his chest was unharmed due to Levi's own body shielding it from the worst of the damage.
Levi looked back at the shattered staircase behind him and the now-dormant statues at the top. He shook his head as he smiled bitterly.
"Should have just remained at the cave, cultivating!"
Levi almost regretted it, but at least he had survived and he even had some treasures with him along with his regeneration reaching the supernatural grade.
However, he needed to leave this place really fast.
The inheritance ground was unstable, and Sub-Dean Scarlet might return once she was certain the guardian had gone dormant. He couldn't afford to be here if she decided to eliminate the "security risk" that the Dark Priestess had created by offering him that poisoned invitation.
Levi struggled to his feet, using his saber as a support. His Supernatural Regeneration was still working to repair the more subtle damage throughout his body, but he was functional enough to move. He turned toward the entrance gate, ready to leave when a figure materialized in front of the gate, blocking his path.
'Fuck me!' Levi cursed at his bad luck. Just when he was about to escape, she actually appeared and stood before him like a ghost.
Levi's heart nearly stopped as he recognized Sub-Dean Scarlet standing there, her crimson eyes fixed upon him with an unreadable expression.
For a long, tense moment, neither of them spoke. Levi's hand tightened on his saber grip, a golden elixir exploded from within him and intense strength overflowed within his cells.
He knew it was useless to struggle but he couldn't just wait to die.
But then, unexpectedly, Sub-Dean Scarlet suddenly smiled a breath-taking smile. It wasn't a warm smile or a kind smile, but it wasn't the expression of someone about to kill.
"You have guts, kid. And more importantly, you have the talent to back up those guts." Her eyes flickered over his transformed appearance, noting the changes from his evolution.
"That's at least an A rank bloodline, maybe even S rank and amongst the top 100 bloodline in the bloodline codex."
Levi didn't know how to respond, so he simply remained silent and wary.
Scarlet's smile widened slightly. "Don't worry. I'm not going to kill you over that ridiculous offer from Leina. Anyone with half a brain could see it was a trap to make you a target. Besides..."
Her expression turned more serious. "I want to see how far you can climb with your bloodline. The academy needs monsters like you, especially with what's coming."
Levi frowned and before he could speak, Scarlet stepped aside, clearing the path to the gate. "Go. Return to the academy. Your trial examination is over, and you've more than earned your place at the top of the rankings. We'll speak again once you've had time to recover and process everything that happened here."
Levi didn't need to be told twice. He bowed respectfully despite his exhaustion and injuries, then limped through the entrance gate as quickly as his battered body would allow. Who knew if she would suddenly change her mind.
The moment he crossed the threshold, the world shifted, and he found himself back in normal space.
He had survived, he had managed to actually survived.

Chapter 59: [60] Immense Strength!
The world suddenly changed as Levi was teleported into a different scenery.
He suddenly stumbled as he landed on cold solid ground.
His legs nearly buckling as his body readjusted to normal gravity and atmospheric pressure.
He was standing in what appeared to be a dense forest region, it was completely different from where he had been before entering the inheritance ground.
The trees here were massive, their trunks easily ten meters in diameter, and their canopy was so thick it blocked out most of the crimson moonlight from the Blood Moon above.
Levi immediately moved toward the nearest massive tree trunk and jumped up.
As his jump reached the highest point, the air suddenly solidified underneath his feet and he tapped the air twice as he landed in the highest beach of the tree and collapsed in a tree branch.
He had activated the golden elixer more then five times in a row, pushing his body to the absolute limit.
If it weren't for his regeneration ability, he would have been rendered crippled and even the system would take able to do anything about it.
Even despite his Supernatural-grade Regeneration working overtime, he was utterly exhausted. His energy reserves were nearly depleted, his muscles ached, and his mind felt foggy and tired.
The little thief stirred in the sling against his chest, finally beginning to wake up properly. Its tiny eyes blinked open slowly, adjusting to the dim forest lighting, and it let out a confused series of small chirps as it sensed the changes in their surroundings and in Levi himself.
The creature's nose suddenly twitched rapidly as it sniffed at Levi's scent, a slight confusion appeared on its face as it scratched its head just like a human would.
"You behave more human like now," Levi chuckled, gently stroking its head with one finger.
The little thief nuzzled against his palm affectionately before its attention shifted to something else entirely.
Its nose began twitching even more rapidly, and it squeaked excitedly while pointing in a particular direction deeper into the forest. Even after nearly dying multiple times, the creature's single-minded dedication to finding valuable treasures remained completely unchanged.
Levi couldn't help but laugh weakly at the small beast's priorities. "You never quit, do you? We nearly got killed by two Astral Lords and an ancient guardian, my body was literally shattered into pieces, and the first thing you want to do is go treasure hunting again?"
The little thief squeaked indignantly, as though offended that Levi would even suggest stopping their profitable partnership now when there were clearly valuable items nearby waiting to be claimed.
Despite his exhaustion and the very real temptation to simply sit here and rest until his body fully recovered, Levi found himself considering the little thief's suggestion seriously. His Danger Sense wasn't triggering any warnings about immediate threats in the vicinity, which meant the area around them was relatively safe for the moment. And more importantly, he needed to check his current status after everything that had happened.
"Status," Levi commanded mentally, and the familiar translucent blue screen materialized before his eyes once more.

Levi stared at the information displayed before him with wide eyes, his mind struggling to process the changes.
His attributes had more than tripled from his previous level Nine Super Soldier state. It was no wonder the difference between a Super soldier and a genetic soldier was incredibly vast.
His strength had increased from four hundred fifty-five to one thousand eight hundred forty-seven, an improvement of over three hundred percent. His physique, which had been his highest stat before, had jumped from five hundred twenty to over two thousand. And his energy reserves, had expanded from four thousand to eighteen thousand five hundred.
His blood art: Regeneration had also reached the Supernatural Grade. And from what the system indicated, the blood art reaching Supernatural Grade skills meant it was on a completely different level from Mortal Grade blood art!
While Mortal Grade blood art enhanced natural capabilities through training and refinement, Supernatural Grade skills actually bent the rules of reality to achieve effects that shouldn't be physically and scientifically possible.
His Regeneration could now heal injuries that would permanently cripple normal cultivators, and it worked five times faster than the peak Mortal Grade version had.
There was also a new skill category that hadn't existed before, Saber Mastery at Level Three. The system must have registered his use of the Severing Abyss saber during his desperate fights and automatically created a new skill to track his progress with that weapon type. It was currently only at Level Three, far below his Cleaver Mastery at Level Eight, but it would grow with enough practice and combat.
Levi closed the status screen and leaned his head back against the tree trunk, closing his eyes as he tried to process everything that happened. In the span of less than a day, he had gone from a Rank Seven Super Soldier with decent potential to a Rank one Genetic Soldier with an S-Rank bloodline capabilities that would make most second-year students at the academy shiver in fear.
At this moment, the gap between him and the other recruits had widened to an outrageous degree. Not even a single one of them should be able to withstand a single hit from him.
