Chapter 9 - 9) Traitor or Visionary

240ĉ.

That was how much he had in his wallet.

A small amount in his eyes considering that he couldn't even pay for a 30-day subscription.

Luckily the finance tab came with some helpful features, one of which was a history tab displaying all his transactions.

There, the source of his small fortune was revealed to be all the undead he killed.

"Well that explains a lot."

Seeing his kills listed in monetary form left Mateo feeling weird but he just brushed it off, after all if given the chance to kill again he wouldn't hesitate to, heck he might actually kill more now that he knew it wasn't a dream.

On the plus side, he found the reason for the weird sound that came with the death of every zombie, and he also managed to take the zomb-hobgoblin down with him even after his death.

Unfortunately his low account balance didn't allow him to bask in his achievements for long.

Leaving the history tab to try out the other ones, he tapped on the [Exchange] sign and was shown the different prices different currencies were being exchanged for.

-----------------

<1 CODEcoin(ĉ) = 14.9 Empirium chips(£)>

<1 £ = 0.0642 ĉ>

< 1 ĉ = 17.13 Lunar driskyi (ľď)>

< 1 ľď = 0.056 ĉ>

< 1 ĉ = 3.7 Federation credits (fć)>

< 1 fć = 0.251 ĉ>

< 1 ĉ = 3.79 Alliance havluoms (ãĥ)>

< 1 ãĥ = 0.243 ĉ>

*Prices are subject to change depending on economic factors*

---------------

<1 Lowlife Exp point = 4 ĉ>

<1 Ascendant Exp point = 20 ĉ>

<1 Divine Exp point = 200ĉ>

*Prices are not subject to change and are fixed*

Seeing the Exchange rates of some universal currencies exhilarated Mateo, after all, they provided free information on which universal body was strongest, economic-wise of course, all without him having to pay a dime, or coin in this sense.

"So after this CODE person, the Alliance and the Federation are next in terms of economics. Shit, I didn't even know there was a difference between an Alliance and a Federation."

In order to confirm or deny a few suspicions he had, he tapped on the search bar and typed Earth's most traded currency, the United States Dollar in the empty space.

Luckily this search function was free and he didn't have to subscribe to any package.

Unfortunately, the USD as a currency was not found but he was given the option of adding it to the CODE's database.

Upon agreeing, he found himself in the tab where a series of programmed questions were rolled out for him to answer, pretty standard questions like;

-Name of Planets using the currency,

-Physical copy of currency (if any) to be presented for scanning,

-Economic strength of currency in relation to other available currency on local planets,

which he used the Internet to answer the last question.

Some other questions were non-standard, such as;

-TIER of strongest being on the planet,

-Number of Interplanetary Battles won,

-Average TIER of citizens on the planet,

and as such, he didn't have answers for them.

Giving out all this information and more made Mateo feel uncomfortable and like a traitor since any random person in the universe could look up information about Earth or the Dollar and be presented with this, but he just told himself that it was a necessary sacrifice to be made since it could put Earth on the universal Map.

Besides, no one would have access to this info unless they knew what to search for, since unlike the tab which had floating advertisements, the tab only had a search bar at the top, and a sell button at the bottom, with the whole background being dark and misty with a white question mark symbol rotating slowly.

**In another part of the country**

An unsuspecting figure was having a warm shower when an unknown person suddenly hugged her from behind.

"Hehehe Amber, you've surely gained some more flesh in the right places since I last saw you. Look, your chest has grown a bit, it's still not as big as mine though. Hehehe." The female invader chuckled, hugging Amber from behind.

"Jesus, Aunt Ruby. What the hell, how did you get in, no, wait I probably don't want to know that. But couldn't you just make yourself comfortable and wait for me to finish bathing, you know, like an ordinary person."

A startled Amber chastised, wrestling her Aunt's invasive hands from her body.

"Hehe. And why would I do that? Miss a chance to see my favourite niece's mature body up close, no way." Aunt Ruby chuckled with enthusiasm, eyes scanning every inch of Amber's body which was now facing her.

"Tsk. Perverted old hag. Once you're here you might as well scrub my back for me." Amber handed Ruby her loofah to show how serious she was which just earned her a wistful smile from her Aunt.

The bath continued, with only the joyful humming from Ruby filling the air and ridding it of any awkward silence.

A short while later, two stunning beauties wrapped in white towels stepped out of the bath in a scene that could be described as both a heavenly and sinful one.

On the left was the younger of the two, Amber, whose warm brown eyes and slightly mature face gave her the air of an angel that needed protection, an appearance the calm curves of her body contrasted.

Her Aunt however was the complete opposite of her, with deep purple eyes courtesy of the contact lenses she wore, and dark-red tipped hair, Ruby looked like the incarnation of a demon who promised you a good time at the cost of your soul, a fact her slightly exaggerated feminine features helped to sell.

Whereas Amber stood at a humble height of 5'4", Ruby stood at an impressive height of 6'2".

Amber's skin was smooth, light-brown and soft, like a princess who had never experienced harm before, unlike Ruby's pale skin covered in tattoos and scars.

Despite their physical differences the Aunty-Niece duo was a combo deadly enough to enslave whichever man they desired.
