Killian's POV
The moment Sonny left, I opened my eyes. I wanted to follow him, but I thought I should trust him more.
So I didn't follow him, but my gut kept telling me all night that I made a terrible mistake.
Where did he go?
Who did he meet?
The longer my thoughts kept pondering over it, a dark aura radiated in the city, and I knew things wouldn't be the same.
I got up and waited for Sonny to come back. My stomach clenched in anxiousness.
Where are you?
I waited for another half hour, and I heard the window opening while the room was dark. The footsteps were careful, like someone didn't want to get caught.
Then the footsteps headed toward the bed.
I turned on the lights with a click of my fingers, and Sonny turned around with a hint of surprise.
"Killian, what are you doing awake?"
I laughed, my voice hidden with anger. "I should be asking you that. I won't repeat it. Where were you?"
Sonny pursed his lips.
I glared. "You're not going to tell me the truth."
