"Your information is really good. Kayin was supposed to be acting in secret," Amir said, a little surprised.
Kayin had just released the info, and Seneal already knew, and even found his way to him.
"Once a secret is out, it's not a secret anymore, hehe," Seneal said with a laugh.
"Does that mean the Pykes know too?" Amir asked. If it had spread and the Pykes heard, it would be difficult.
"No, no, of course not. Only a few people know, and they're all trying their best to hide it from the Pykes," Seneal said, seeing what Amir was thinking.
"So, you plan to get involved too?"
"Hehe, the thought did cross my mind. A Pyke spice storage base... tsk tsk... who can resist that temptation? I just came to ask if your info is accurate." Seneal clearly wanted in.
"The info is highly reliable. But do you really plan to get in on it? There might be a huge brawl. It's very dangerous," Amir said, puzzled. He thought the old fox wouldn't be interested in this.
"Get in on it? I am getting in on it, but not that way, hehe. Are you interested in coming with me? If you're there, I won't have to worry about safety."
"I don't plan to get involved. Releasing the info meant I was staying out of it," Amir replied.
"Of course, I don't need you to fight those criminals for spice. I'll take you somewhere else, to get some good stuff." Seneal gave him a "you-know-what-I-mean" smile.
"What good stuff?" Amir's interest was piqued.
"At the very least, there will be no shortage of money. As for the other things... that depends on your interest."
"Alright. I'm free anyway. Call me when you're ready to move," Amir thought. He didn't have much going on; a trip might be good.
"Good. I'll call you again."
Hanging up, Amir didn't think about it anymore and went to his bedroom to sleep.
. . .
The next morning, facing the twin suns, Amir began his Force training again, mainly focusing on his lightsaber.
By sparring with Obi-Wan again and again, honing his skills, Amir improved rapidly.
He was no longer limited to Form III. Obi-Wan had demonstrated the other forms to him and shared his personal insights.
For a lightsaber master like Obi-Wan, the forms he used all carried his unique style, better suited to his own habits. This was all experience summed up from countless battles, and Amir benefited greatly from it.
He didn't spend the whole day training. During the hottest hours, Amir returned to the ship. He had acquired a lot of new things recently and could start working on them.
Listing out a pile of ingots, Amir first looked at the shiny Beskar.
"Looks like the ship is still missing a forge..."
He wanted to make something, but he couldn't complete the first step on his own. Without a mold or a forge, the hard metal ingots couldn't be shaped.
After thinking, Amir decided to get one himself. He often built gadgets in his spare time, and commissioning a forge was too troublesome. The ship still had plenty of space.
Thinking of this, Amir decided to head to Mos Eisley.
After Milisen's relentless pestering, Amir had to take her. 32, meanwhile, stayed in the hut to study.
The Traveler landed at the port. Amir walked out, pulling Milisen along.
Amir wore his robe's hood this time. After all, he was still a wanted man. His portrait was posted on the bounty boards.
Obi-Wan had recommended a place, a Jawa who specialized in collecting "scrap."
Speaking of Jawas, they were pretty notorious. This scavenger species roamed every corner of Tatooine. The larger clans always wandered around in giant Sandcrawlers, looking for valuable wreckage in the sand.
They were short and ugly, wrapped in foul-smelling robes, greedy and cunning. That was enough to make anyone hate them.
But that wasn't all. As scavengers, they would pick up mechanical scrap from all over. But sometimes "scrap" just happened to appear in "inappropriate" places, like on brand-new ships.
A merchant freighter passing by, a pleasure cruiser docked for a short time... if you weren't careful, all your mechanical components would be stripped clean by their superb disassembly skills, leaving only a skeleton. They valued money over their lives and would even dare to secretly strip Imperial fighters or Pyke ship thrusters. It was a good thing the Empire never let them see the Death Star.
The only saving grace was that they only disassembled, never destroyed. Even if your ship was stripped bare, as long as you could catch them and offer a satisfactory trade, you could get your stuff back.
Amir felt this trip wouldn't be wasted. Even if he couldn't find a finished forge, he could collect usable parts and build one himself.
Wandering to a corner of the city, the Jawas became more numerous. Under their dirty robes, pairs of beady, yellow eyes stared intently at Amir and Milisen. Their bodies unconsciously drifted closer.
"Deedee-deet gooroo, gaga-gaga goola! (What are you doing here, outlander?!)"
"I'm looking for Teeka. Ben Kenobi said he has good wares." Amir could understand a little.
"Kaku-la, kasa-li-pee! (That's me, follow!)" A Jawa waved at Amir, signaling them in.
"It stinks..." Milisen said, holding her nose.
"Just bear it." Amir also smelled the foul odor. This was a Jawa trading post. They would periodically bring their goods here to sell in the streets, and of course, the selling process was also the "acquiring" process.
"What do you need?" Teeka said. Amir automatically translated his words.
"A forge. Or forge components," Amir said, looking at the messy room. It had everything, but most of it was junk.
"What are you melting?" Teeka asked. Different metals have vastly different melting points.
"You don't need to worry about that. Just give me the highest quality parts you can get," Amir said.
"Highest quality? Don't tell me you found Beskar to melt?" the Jawa grumbled, digging through a pile of junk.
Amir smiled but said nothing. While waiting for Teeka, he also began to rummage through the nearby junk, picking up some still-usable parts to replenish his stock.
"Look at this!" Teeka walked over, dragging a giant cylinder.
"Don't try to fool me with a broken thruster," Amir glanced at it, speechless.
